Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not much of a view. Except the hotel across the way at night lights up and looks very nice.
Room is as shown in photo. Very clean. It is close to most attractions in the area and is near many bus waiting rooms. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious. I love the projector

The hotel was a little out of the way from the main area but it was barely an issue.
We were only there for one night but Luke, the manager/owner was exceptionally helpful! Even before we arrived he contacted us to help arrange transportation to and from the hotel and organizing a scooter for the day. The room looked incredible on the website but was even better in person.

The night light couldn't turn off

Fantastic hotel, especially the staff. I inquired about a food tour and the person (Luke) at the reception invited me to join him personally. Really made the experience that much better! Clean room, good, soft mattresse and bedsheets.

The room with the bath tub is a bit smaller than we expected.
Nicely decorated rooms with new and modern furniture. The view out the back towards the fields and railway is quite calming. The surroundings are quiet, but still easy to Grab or even just walk into the town (~15 mins). The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Takes about 30 minute to walk to the tourist attraction sites, but less than 10 minute drive away.
Very clean and new property, well maintained by staff. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend and stay again. Especially like the Netflix streaming option, surprisingly haven’t had this service in all the other hotel stays in Vietnam (even if they are 5 stars)

Stunning hotel, so cute inside and out! The rooms were super impressive and the bath was a touch of luxury. The owners were lovely, so so helpful with our many questions. Booked our night bus to HCM for a great price. Free water during the stay was also a god send. Rented really nice bikes for the day, good price. Highly recommend.

Nothing, everything is great.
This hotel is literally a dream. Now is on my list of favourite hotel rooms in the world. I loved loved super loved the room. We had a bathtub with a view and also a projector screen (that is not in the room description, so when we seen it it was a nice surprise). The owner was super nice and helpful, he even bought us drinks and food. When I will come back to Dalat, I will book this hotel again.

More photos of the bathroom so I knew what to expect!
The hotel owner/manager was amazing and helped us with everything he could. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and our trip memorable 😊 The interiors are really attractive!

Soundproofing does not exist, I heard my mum talking downstairs, assumed she was one floor down, but she was 3 floors below me, she wasn’t shouting, the noise just travels so far. So you could hear everything going on, and this was a pain for getting to sleep, as some are on different schedules. Location isn’t great, it’s in a residential area with not much around it, and seems an odd place (google street view it). There were roosters crowing early in the morning which set off a load dogs barking too, which usually woke us up. Had to ask for hand towels and toilet paper for our room. On that note, it’s not a hotel but a guesthouse.
Room was decent size, and had a balcony. There was a projector in the room we stayed in, so if you wanted to watch films, would be a good option. The decor was nice, and looked very new and modern, not the most functional, but the look was there.

Make sure, you book a room with a window! We accidentally booked a room with a "window" facing the staircase.
Interior design is lovely, room was clean, bathroom is tiny, but ok. We really liked the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us to book the bus ticket to our next destination.

The temperature of the shower provided was either too hot or cold - knob was sensitive but overall ok. Blinds provided to cover see through toilet had some gaps.
Clean facilities and location accessible to city centre. Owner of hotel is super approachable and will go out of his way to help you with anything like arranging for transport and heating up food. Room was nicely done up and modern. Highly recommend!
