Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyThe dinner was lower than my expectation. The price was really high when compared with the food. We ate in the 360 restaurant. We ordered a meat and it was really good, we ordered the same again and the second was cooked totally different. The second was surprisingly bad, we could not understand how the same food can be this different, as a feedback to the chef. And there is no siders for the meat, you order it seperately. So the meat comes all alone on a plate. I think there should either be some default siders, or yo choose them but it must be served with the meat included in the price. You can order extra sider as you wish. No bread/butter etc served before the dinner, you order that too. It was also hard to communicate with the staff including the therapists in spa. The therapist in the spa could not understand me at all :) However, since they were very kind, we did not make a deal. But for other guests, this may be an issue.
In general the hotel was very beautiful, amazing view, nice room with balcony. Staff was very kind, and there were cute little details like the tea in the room, cute markers for soap :) The hot infinity pool is a very good idea, and they have nice facilities where it is very comfortable to take a shower and get ready in the pool area after you check out. Breakfast was very good too. We were kind of expecting these since the photos looked amazing, and the hotel is high priced. Massage: was average, I was expecting a better one.

United States of AmericaTheir happy hour 2 for 1 drinks are really only 2 half-full glasses. Thus in the end you really only get one drink.
The breakfast buffet was exceptional. We loved that they thought of the little detail i.e. lemongrass oil incense burner and good-night cookies in the room. Sundowners in the late afternoon, lovely!

BrazilDespite the fact the hotel has its own excursions they should also explain on request the other trekkings a guest could find out by himself, not focus only on selling. I and my wife have to find it out by ourselves. The hotel guide only focus was selling the hotel packages! The rest of the staff was gentle and nice!
Almost everything!l, except for the thing pointed, not able to spoil the staying.

VietnamWe'd have loved to have couple of lounging robes in the room
The view to Hoang Lien Son and down to the ethnic minority tribal villages from Topas Ecolodge were surreal and breathtaking. The perfect temperature at the heated infinity pools make them the perfect place to hang out for happy hour in the afternoon and admire the beauty of Vietnam Northern mountains. Sapa has become so popular and crowded that it discouraged people who have been there before like me to come again, however, Topas Ecolodge locates far away from the crowd, and provides a very relaxing and luxury environment if that's what you're searching for. We also took the 7km trek tour by Topas which was very informative and beautiful. Food was phenomenal too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

One of the most beautiful hotels that I have ever stayed in! Wonderful luxury from start to end! The most idyllic setting with breathtaking views and excellent service from all the staff! Having 2 horizon pools - one hot and one cold - was so luxurious. Can’t recommend this hotel enough if you want a very special experience!

United Arab EmiratesThe activities provided by the resort can be better.
The location is out of a fairytale, the rooms are beautiful and the views are to die for. Surprisingly resorts aren’t normally great with food, but Topas had some of the best meals we had on our trip.

AustraliaCannot fault anything about our stay.
The day spa treatments were fantastic (during our stay my husband and I sampled 9 different treatments, so we had ample opportunity to assess!). The views were phenomenal from everywhere within the compound - the heated infinity pool afforded some really cool photo ops even in winter and the staff were friendly, professional and accomodating and we loved that they tried to help us with perfecting the complex intonation of their language when we practised ordering in Vietnamese. The turndown service and the little evening treats were a nice touch, as was the evening bonfires, local flute player & happy hour in one of the many bars onsite.

Singapore1. The seat cushion on both armchairs in our bungalow are hard and uncomfortable to sit on. 2. I would prefer if there is a universal electrical socket or USB Charging Points in the room. 3. I'd suggest if the resort could provide recommendations or suggested activities that guests could take part on rainy days. We took a walk outside the resort and walked for 3km in the rain. The roads are narrow, some parts muddy. We should have enquired about other activities to do on a wet day.
This is a spectacular mountain resort. The grounds were much bigger than I had expected and the views were just stunning (note: it was very foggy on our first day so I could only imagine how the views would have been on a clear day). There are lots of walking and steps going up and down, so do be aware if you are mobility challenged. We stayed in a bungalow which was built against a hill slope with views looking out to the mountains. The room itself is spacious and came with all the usual amenities. Wifi connection was good. We had breakfast at Restaurant 360 and dinners in both the Stilthouse and 360 restaurants. The food was great and the service was excellent. The hotel staff helped us arranged transport, which included transfer from the Lao Cai Bus Station to the resort and also a private car on the second day for sightseeing tour. We had a very enjoyable time at Sapa and Topas.
