The cosyness of the place is second to non. It’s awesome. Also Tien and Luna are Some of the best we’ve experienced. Nothing was asked to much and they always helped us with the biggest smile. The location is at 5 minutes walking of the beach… 10/10 would recommend!

The location is very cozy, managed by two superhost Luna and Tien always available for a chat or for suggesting the best things to do in Hoi an and beyond! No way if you pass by the centre of Vietnam you have to stop here!

We loved everything.

We were treated like family and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in one of the bungalow rooms which was great. The communal are was a nice place to relax. Tine and Luna were exceptional hosts, all the staff were amazing. Location is close to the beach and breakfast across the road at Ken’s was delicious and included in the room price.

Amazing staff - Luna made me feel so at home right away and recommended the best spots around the old town to visit including a rooftop cafe, ancient buildings and the best local cuisine. Homestay located just next to the beautiful An Bang beach

We really liked the super friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Tien and Luna were extremely helpful with anything we needed help for, like organisation of tours and restaurants. We appreciated especially the trip to My Son, early in the morning, with a private car.

Beautiful property on the beach, spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast, run by a wonderful family who are always smiling, kind, and welcoming. They make your bed every day and put up a mosquito net every evening. They invite you to lunch with them "if you want to share something or just a smile." The most beautiful place I've ever been to in the world. Thank you so much.

Luna at the front desk is SO incredibly helpful and immediately makes you feel like family. I liked this place so much that I came back to stay another two weeks. Clean bathrooms, clean rooms, respectful guest, and complimentary breakfast is SO good! Highly recommend

Tucked away in a peaceful, palm-lined lane just a short walk from the beach, this homestay is everything you hope for when you want an authentic, relaxing experience. What made our stay even more special was Ms. Luna, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. On a rainy afternoon, when we were feeling a little stuck, she surprised us with some freshly prepared snacks — warm, homemade, and incredibly thoughtful. It turned what could have been a gloomy day into one of our most memorable. It felt like being cared for by family. The rooms are clean, cosy, and surrounded by lush greenery. The vibe is laid-back and genuine — perfect for travellers looking to escape the busy tourist areas and connect with nature and local hospitality. We left feeling refreshed and so grateful for the kindness we received!

I liked everything but it’s a bit more difficult to socialize than in a regular hostel. But still I got to meet great people.

Great cute little cabin by the beach. Awesome place nearby Hoi An but way more laidback and chill than Hoi An. Good restaurants and nice beach bars are around the corner. Breakfast is at a different location but super well arranged. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Really great place.

There are some insects because there is so much greenery but that’s only normal in nature so not a big minus but good to set expectations

I loved staying at Under the Coconut! It’s surrounded by nature and has such a relaxed, peaceful vibe. The location is perfect (just a 5-minute walk to the beach) and the whole place feels like a little hidden gem. Really tasty breakfast is served at a nearby café with super friendly staff. Also, big bonus: there are some adorable, chill dogs hanging around the hostel that made the stay even better. Would definitely come back!

As soon as I arrived, the team made me feel right at home. They truly are the heart of this place, going above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome - always ready to help. For shared rooms, the bunk beds are so comfortable and big, allowing for space and privacy. They also include a private cupboard with locks - again really big, I could fit my guitar inside :) Each room is surrounded by lush green trees and plants, it's a little escape from the busy street, yet close to shops, restaurants and the sea. I can't recommend Under the Coconut Tree enough. It’s my favorite place to stay, and I have no doubt I’ll be back again!

What is there not to like 🤔 2mins walk to the beach, beautiful natural surroundings. Care taken in every aspect of one’s stay - amazing staff with great communication. Good wifi, towels whenever you need them, beds made every day and mozzie nets positioned of an evening. Dorms and rooms, plenty of bathrooms and toilets. People staying in the city area often head to this local beach. Great beach front restaurants. Good MB ATM within walking distance.
