The rooms are really small, no housekeeping during our stay, very noisy road. The room was dirty, it seemed the sheets weren't changed from a previous guest..

We liked the location, it is right in the heart of the old town and a block away from the lake. The hotel staff stored our bags before and after check in/out.

It was a fantastic location and therefore value for money because of that . But very basic , beds too hard and fridge not working efficiently. But perfect spot to site see in Hanoi and staff very helpful

The bathroom / toilet was very small and no cubicle when showering so everywhere got soaked .

The balcony was nice for a city but very dusty and very very noisey

Room didn't have city views, as advertised, and the bed was hard. Corridors, stairs, very narrow but there was a lift which worked well.

Great location near lake in Old Quarter with lots of shops/cafes/restaurants nearby. Pleasant staff who spoke English. Decent size, clean room, with wardrobe.

Balcony was very nice. Room was clean. Bed was a bit hard, but it’s like that in most places. Very good location & in walking distance of everything (lake, old town...) Gets a bit noisy because of that, but that’s easily fixed with earplugs!

Bathroom tiles are wonky. Same with floor boards. Balcony doors are not sound proof.

Very small room, we had to walk very narrow stairs to get to the room. We had to walk through money exchange to get to the hotel reception.

Good location of the hotel, close to the lake. Room was okay but very small. We booked the stay very late that night and the staff responded quickly and was ready on the time of our arrival.

Super conveniently located. They have a travel agency in the same building so it’s super easy to book tours.

the stairs are horrible. my room was on the 4th floor, I had to go up to 5th floor and bring my suitcase down the stairs which are super narrow. they were doing some construction so it was really loud in the morning, when I was checking out I was going to take my luggage up the stairs so I can use the elevator but the staircase was full of construction material so I had to go down two floors with my suitcase in those tiny tiny stairs, I almost fell down multiple times, it was just so painful. the rooms are so small, there's no view out the window, just a wall. the pictures on booking.com and Google maps are super misleading. there's no mini bar, just a tiny empty fridge. it's just not what you think you're booking.

the staff was nice, the owner was very helpful, the room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. location is great.

Hard bed. I was on the top floor but unfortunately noise above me from some sort of machinery on the roof. No hair dryer.

Larger room this visit with a big TV. Tom looked after us well and also organised our trip to the airport using a private car at no charge. Location is excellent.

Very small basic rooms more like a single. Photos on Booking.com make the rooms look nicer than they are. Walls are thin so noisy neighbours and TV can be heard. Overpriced as room is only 2 or 3 stars due to age and small space. No view from window just a dirty courtyard.

Good host. Great location. Air conditioned, tea making facilities, hair-dryer. Quiet as internal rooms are away from street noise. Laundry and tours available at front desk.

Hotel staff offered to reduce the airport taxi price for a 10-star review on booking.com, which I don’t really support since it skews the rating.

Right across from the lake, outside taxi pickup zone but barely, room was decent and clean.
