The private double room was overpriced. Very basic room with just a small window so felt a bit prison-ish when it rained and I wanted to spend more time chilling in the room. Stayed somewhere else nearby and liked it a lot more, and it was cheaper for a much nicer room with en suite.

Not sure where to begin but I love all about this hostel. So, it’s a family business run by a lovely couple Ly and Will and they put so much love and effort into this project. Honestly everything is so professional and very details oriented. The moment when you arrive you get all information about the hostel and the location. So you know all the logistical options and what to do in your free time. The hostel itself has a beautiful design and is full of plants. Looks beautiful, feels so good. The rooms and the bathrooms are very comfy and always clean. I love the pool and the bar area. And the bar offers awesome protein shakes and good food options. Everything is full of flavour and sooo yummy. The most important thing about this place is the vibe. You can easily meet new people but also relax. I feel so genuinely happy here. Thank you so much!! I wish you all the best and I'm sure in the near future you will become one of the best hostel chain! <

Honestly what a place. I wish I could have stayed longer. Will & Ly, thank you so much for being such welcoming and hospitable hosts. I felt so at home even over a short stay, I cannot wait to visit again someday. Couldn't recommend Wanderlast (especially for solo travellers) more - ♥️🇳🇿

Loved my stay at Wanderlust. Really social hostel, which was especially great for me as a solo-traveler. Liked the activities they organised and helped me with some booking arrangements! Rooms were big and the beds even bigger. Loved it and hope to come back one day!

The vibe was a bit off in the sense that the hostel wants to make money, I understand it’s a business but it didn’t feel so warm as other Vietnamese stays.

Very nice location near the beach, there is a cafe one block away you need to try! - sunny coffee corner, and the vegan restaurants the hostel recommends were also very good. Also a nice detail of the hostel was the WhatsApp group where people were very active doing social activities or asking any questions like joining in rides together.

Lovely stay at Wanderlust. The team really make you feel welcome. Nice group activities and hostel dinners organised to meet fellow travellers. Great spot by the beach but worth bearing in mind you need to take a 10 minute grab to get into the main old town. Clean and comfortable bunk beds with good privacy and large bathroom. Perfect place to chill for a few days in the sun and also party with some backpackers if you’re that way inclined. Highly recommended!

Upper bunk ladders look tricky. Glad I was on the bottom. Mosquitoes. One toilet in bedroom for 8. Further bathrooms down the end of the complex by the pool.

Bed comfy and locker space ample. Effective aircon. Outside of Hoi An so less busy. Not far from the beach with restaurants and cafes nearby. Handy leaflet on arrival. Communal WhatsApp group if you want to join in with stuff. You can get food and drinks on site.

The hostel is near A Bang beach and close to the Old Town, quite modern with air bnb vibes and there are lots to do around. If the many brochures and options are too confusing just ask the hostel staff to arrange for you, all are super lovely and ready to help! The beddings are super warm and comfy, there’s also the added bonus of security with the overhead and below the bed locker spaces, as well as a really secure password login system to your dorm room. Shower was hot and basic necessities are provided such as shampoo, conditioner, towels and hair dryer.

the staff were so friendly, will was super insightful and li always had the answers to my questions. it was a nice peaceful hostel, but did offer opportunities to do group activities such as a dinner out and a movie night. the pool was super refreshing and the beds were the most comfortable ones I've had on my trip. soft pillows, duvet and comfy mattress. the rooms were secure and there was easy access not just to the beach, but also to the town. (I rented a bicycle with a route suggested by the owners, which allowed me to see more of the area than I had planned to).

It was the best hostel ever tried! You feel such a good energy and a natural movement to connect with people. Will and Ly , the owners of the hostel, are genuinely welcoming and kind and they will help you in any way. When I arrived there, I wasn’t excepted to find this fantastic environment. The friendly vibes! Very nice place to chuck back and relax by the pool. Staff were so nice! Had a group dinner organized through the hostel at one of the local restaurants in town. Would recommend!!

The owners do care about the place. The atmosphere is good but it is not a party hostel. The quality for price is good. I liked the location close to the beach, to Hoi An I was taking Grabs (motorbike less than 30k). The owners organized a night out with a dinner witch is much appreciated.

This is truely a lovely hide out near the beach but also not far from Hoi An. In fact it‘s so nice to find relaxation after visiting the busy ancient city or coming back from one of the multiple offered tours. Will and Ly take care about you and everything, you will feel at home and you will regret leaving this safe haven.

Will and Ly have created such an amazing space for travellers! We found our private room to be quite small though, which is why we switched to another hostel. Looking back we should have just asked for a bigger room, as we kept going back for their delicious breakfast and to book everything. And the vibes are just great here, we‘ve met so many nice people. Thanks Will and Ly for everything and for sharing your knowledge about Hoi an with us! We will definitely recommend this place to other travellers and would 100% book here again. Also there are adorable dogs here that stole my heart!!
