Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Exception staff. Specially Hoan- she was proactive in recommending things to do here and very helpful. My mother loved the Memories Show that Hoan recommended which I would’ve otherwise not gone for. Overall fantastic stay. We also got upgraded to a 2-bedroom villa which turned out to be really good for us. Highly recommended place

Great value for money. Lovely staff. Great location with direct beach access. Spacious rooms and great little seafood restaurant next door (called 768). Lots of entertainment: pool, two heated pools, ping pong, bicycles, fussball, football, basket ball, volleyball.

FranceThere was nothing I didn't like but here's some suggestions : It would have been better if the rooms had a full length mirror. About the deluxe twin room : the disposition of the shower is a little weird, I would not recommend this room if you are modest. I wished they add more schedules for the free shuttle bus to the Old Town.
The resort is well located. It's only 10/15 min by taxi from the Old Town. The beach is only 5 min by walk. The main pool is very big and there is another little pool near the beach. The beds are comfy, rooms are soundproofed. The breakfast is delicious and there are many choices (Vietnamese, Korean and Western cuisine). There is even a vegetarian corner. And as always, vietnamese staff are the best ! Very friendly and helpful !

CanadaWhile we paid the resort directly at checkout, getting a proper invoice was incredibly difficult. The front desk staff incorrectly insisted that Booking.com was responsible for issuing it. After I spent time calling Booking.com, they confirmed that since the resort collected the payment, the resort must provide the invoice. It took a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth communication to finally resolve this. This seems to be a staff training issue that caused a frustrating delay.

Vietnam1. I booked the King Deluxe room with Ocean View. The staff changed into Twin room even though she knows I travel alone. What they did is that they put 2 twin beds into one, making a big line between the bed. I insisted to have the king bed but they don't follow it. Really upset about this. 2. The room is not sound proof well. I can hear the kids from the next room crying, screaming and laughing at night. 3. There is no hanger to put the towel after taking bath, so inconvenient.
Room with good ocean view. They have great and free wifi. The place has a nice and clean gym. Free 2-way shuttle bus to visit Old town (but you need to book in advance).

Hong KongThe bedrooms of the villas are not connected so this is not ideal for a family with small children - you cannot hear them and therefore cannot use the additional bedroom. We ended up all sharing one room for safety reasons. There is no kitchen equipment provided as standard in the kitchen, not even cutlery. The service at the bar is very slow and the menu is incredibly overpriced. The staff seem to lack any first aid training, even the life guards. We witnessed a very serious accident during our stay and the staff didn’t know what to do. Thankfully a few guests stepped in. There is not even an AED anywhere at the hotel. Whilst the pool is great. There kids all ended up with cut feet after using. We didn’t work out what from but the life guards seemed aware of it as they kept pestering us to use water shoes. This shouldn’t be necessary. We ended borrowing some from the hotel.
Excellent location, just 10 minute taxi ride to Hoi An old town. Beautiful villa. Brilliant children’s pool; one of the biggest kids pools we’ve ever used. Lovely little slide too. Excellent play parks for children and lots of space for running on the grass and beach. Many local restaurants for ordering food. Breakfast delicious and the staff are very kind and friendly; they do their best.

New ZealandThe location is miles from Da Nang and Hoi An. Basically in the middle of both. It was really expensive for food and drink ans there is really limited options outside of the hotel.

FranceThe diner buffet is rather disappointing and not to the standard of the hotel. The 2 towers are not pretty… but once in the tower the view is great.

AustraliaThe resort room had some issues like the seal on the slidey door was so loud and screechy which wasn't ideal for the sleeping toddler in our room and it wasn't the nicer or bigger of the two ensuites compared to the twin room next door although that shower flooded with short showers and so we didn't use it after that first time.. The crib also was faulty on night one so we couldn't use it but housekeeping sorted that out very quickly for the next night. There is also only aircon in the main foyer and the rooms and nothing in the shared areas which I found strange for a 5 star resort. These rooms and communal floor areas are very good for 4 star but definitely not 5 star. The main pool is great with the biggest toddler pool I've ever seen with little children slides going into it but beware as the kids came out with cut feet each time they went in but the slide had them going back in anyway! They are 9 and 7 and boys so are also just a bit rougher generally. My almost 2yo girl didn't get cuts at all. I'm sure if we went to them with some of these little issues the friendly staff would have tried to help us but some of these are a design issue so not much really could be done and we didn't want to move rooms. Hotel prices are also what you would expect to pay in a 5* resort and 4 to 5x what you would pay for the same things elsewhere in Vietnam. It is easy to Grab food to eat back in room though if you can't go out every night with little kids.
The apartment room was great overall with comfy beds, nice views out and a balcony with table and chairs. The pool area by the beach is phenomenal. Lots of relaxing areas to get a lounger or beanbag. My favourite pool! Plenty of pool towels available to borrow but all must be left in the pool area so just bring your own if you want to go back to your room with towels! That seems quite normal in every place we stayed in Vietnam. Breakfast was also very good in terms of variety and quality. There were peaks and troughs in time naturally and those determined what you were able to get from buffet and where you could sit but generally a very good selection and only once we had to eat outside. The matching family robes were a hit too! Grabs are easy to come by for this hotel even with an early airport departure. Check in and check out was also very easy! Staff are super friendly and helpful! I definitely would consider another stay here if we came back and would still recommend it to others for a holiday with a few caveats. It was nice being out of the old town and just visiting when we needed to!

AustraliaThe restaurant prices were astronomical in comparison to outside the resort, I did find the rooms to be quite noisy you could hear the rooms next door and people in the hallway.
Beautiful resort with amazing pools, beach, and newly renovated rooms. Only 10 mins from the Ancient Town (which was a very cheap grab ride if you don’t want to use the resort shuttle), and 5 mins from restaurants and cafes at An Bang beach.

AustraliaThere are no locks on the door of the living room in the units. So you need to remove all iPhones, valuables etc every time you go out even just for breakfast. Families with younger children should also be aware the bedrooms are not adjoining so you won’t hear children wake up, cry, or wander off to the pool or beach.
Great location, very clean, private pool was used extensively - it’s hot even during the wet season.

DenmarkThe restaurants was insanely overpriced and that was also the case with the services the hotel provided. E.g. a pizza was 600.000 vnd and a car to the airport was 800.000 vnd. We used Grab for food or a ride instead or ate in Hoi An

IrelandFound the price of food and beverages on the property to be VERY expensive. I also did not own a credit card so as a result I was not allowed to charge anything to my room. Our room was also not cleaned a couple of times, even though we asked the cleaner to give us 10 minutes and she agreed. Rooms are also quite small. There was also no holder for the shower head which was very awkward and resulted in the bathroom getting very wet.
Bed are super comfortable, staff are very friendly and grounds and facilities are very nice

CanadaReceived information that a shuttle to the ancient town was available during the day and evening. As of our day 2 stay, the evening shuttle was no longer available (mgmt made a change was the reason). The location is far to visit the ancient town and an evening shuttle would be beneficial especially since we were informed of it upon check in. Unfortunately, most of the green space was occupied by people setting up for an event one day. This minimized the amount of space people had for lounging and loungers available. In addition, the constant building and drilling did not make the space or beach conducive for relaxing. Guests should have been informed of this in advance as it may have changed their choice of hotel for that particular day.
Pleasant staff and great beach access. Room was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast.
