Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Customer service majority of staff performed well. Great to see trained staff in broad hospitality including the customer service. Happy to say we were well looked after. From the room services/housekeeping/daily complimentary water supply/breakfast was very satisfactory.

ItalyAlthough the the room was in principle very good certain elements needed maintanance: when we checked in, the cupboard door almost fell into my hands. It was just handling on two out of four ancors. The door of the minibar commode did not close. We needed to fix it by jamming paper between the two doors. Not adequate for a Sheraton and the room price. One evening at the Pool Bar, we got the worst draught beer ever (Taula).
Very good location at the harbour Front of Apia. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Overall a very nice, relaxed atmospere.

Location and breakfast was great. Staff welcoming & helpful especially those out front. We weren't rushed by staff enabling a relaxed stay.

New ZealandFood at Sheraton Aggie Gray was average
Buffet breakfast was standard. I would suggest arriving for breakfast before 9am as food ran out. The room was comfortable. Booking.com over sold our room and said we got a balcony/patio - this was not the case. Pool was fantastic

New ZealandMy 86 year old mother was left in the lobby for more than three hours waiting for her room to be ready after a long flight. We did arrive at 1.30pm which was 30 minutes earlier than we had advised our arrival time. When she fell and needed dressing for a cut on her arm, there wasn't a first aid kit available. The room toilets are also not ideal for someone with limited mobility. She was woken at 2am for a fire alarm which was a false alarm. When she needed help from reception she couldn't get an answer to her phonecall.
The room had a lovely outlook and was clean and comfortable. Location was good. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast lovely.

New ZealandThere appeared to be a disconnect between the laundry and hotel. Housekeepers were short on bathroom towels, bath mat, wash cloths and hand towels. We didn’t have any towels for over 24hrs nor a face flannel for 4 days. It was difficult for them to complete servicing of the room. Shower is over the bath which would be difficult for people with mobility issues.
Excellent breakfast which is included in the price. Limited dinner menu e.g. no fresh pan fried fish on the menu. Staff were very good in the restaurant. Pele was excellent at sorting a few issues out immediately. Room had a great air con system.

New ZealandThe room was generally clean and comfortable, but I did notice a slight yellow stain on the bathroom wall. It didn’t affect our experience, but a bit of extra cleaning in that area could help elevate the overall presentation.
We stayed here at Sheraton for a short getaway, and overall our experience was fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the staff and hospitality were exceptionally amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay special.

AustraliaFacilities are definitely run down. Same issue as most with room service and changing towels etc, but if you let reception know they’ll have it sorted promptly so wasn’t too much of an issue. Main thing was just the rooms being run down, marks on the walls, but nothing that’ll change outcome of your stay as the rooms are only for sleeping in, the staff are the ones who made the stay memorable and enjoyable :)
Staff were amazing - beautiful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was a highlight and the Koko Alaisa was 10/10. The mixture of pool and music gave it the island vibe which was nice (have found some new songs to add to the playlist) was nice to go for a swim in the afternoons and have a drink by the pool, staff were super attentive no matter where you were having drink/food (in the restaurant or around the pool).

AustraliaNo readily available information about the hotel and surrounds - generally if I go to a hotel there would be information about breakfast times, when to check out, hotel facilities, local restaurants and activities etc.... there was nothing provided aside from a few quick bits of verbal information when we checked in. Parking could be tricky - not always spots available, especially on weekends. Beach towels were hit and miss whether they would be available. There was a pretty slippery area on a sloped part of the walkway to our room as we passed the lap pool - which could be a bit sketchy after we had some rain. Housekeeping could be pretty random. Sometimes I would leave our towels hanging on the rack, and I'd notice 1 of our towels would be taken for cleaning and the other left behind. We would have the hand towel taken and not replaced. Towel for the floor would get taken and not replaced, then the next day there would be two. No big deal, and we could always request the things we needed, but it was odd!
Breakfast had a wide variety of options. I was able to get a really good, barista made, cappuccino each morning which was fabulous. Staff were so friendly and happy to help (Waailey at the restaurant was so lovely!) Bungalow was very spacious and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was great. Location was great - right in the heart of Apia, very easy to get to restaurants and markets. Always supplied new bottles of water each day, and there was access to filtered water if we wanted to refill our bottles.

New ZealandAlthough they tried hard the summary would be not enough. Not enough towels so no towels at the pool so we had to wait for some to be dried , our room was serviced then we had no towels in our room one day and two days of no bath mat or hand towel. There was not enough furniture around the pool and as we were wet and didn’t want to sit in the restaurant we had to point out that more seating was needed so we could lunch by the pool. We had balcony’s but no outside furniture. We also had problems both with getting replies re our transfers online and by phone and also with ensuring that the correct transfers were indeed sorted. They tried hard but just seemed to not be able to deliver at the level expected for their hotel rating.
The hotel was beautiful. The location was nice. It had a nice restaurant with a good breakfast on offer. The pool was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly.
