Easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in! Sinan and his family have put so much work into creating a beautiful, welcoming home for people and it shows in every way. They make sure that every person who stays feels like both friend and family. The beds are comfortable with curtains and the softest sheets, and the whole place is incredibly clean. It's in such a central location and the rooftop terrace also offers such a beautiful view and a great place to watch the sunset. I ended up staying an extra night and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I’ve stayed in plenty of hostels but this one’s on the short list for the best ever. The owner/host sets the tone by being incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. That rubs off on the guests so you immediately connect with people. Awesome rooftop terrace is the perfect hanging out space; great for watching sunsets and listening to the amazing blend of muezzin from competing nearby mosques. Short (but steep) walk up to the ruined castle. The host will steer you to good, cheap eats and he seems to enjoy hanging out with the guests and sometimes handing out beers…

No complaints whatsoever. I can’t imagine a better experience — and very cheap, to boot…

Great location, nice and clean rooms + view from the balcony. I big shout out to the the hosts, who were very warm and hospitable throughout my stay. Definitely recommend!

Best hospitality I have experienced

The hostel is brand new, having just recently opened. Sinan is incredibly attentive and always goes the extra mile to help guests. The rooftop view is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming that I decided to extend my stay for another night.

The host and his family are very nice people, always there to help or just have a little chat. You can enjoy stunning view from the rooftop terrace. You can see most of the centre and beautiful sunsets from there. In conclusion - budget friendly warm place with very nice people in it. Can't wait to come back.

The host is very kind and welcoming, and the hostel is clean and comfortable. It’s a good choice if you are looking for a simple, friendly place to stay in Prizren.

The hostel has just recently opened, so the host still doesn’t know much about traditional restaurants or local activities like tours, via ferrata, or equipment rental. He doesn’t yet have strong connections with the community, which makes it harder to get local recommendations. Prizren itself has a lot of potential, but tourism here is still developing.

This is a very nice hostel, brand new. I enjoyed my stay so much. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Gave me tea and lemonade when I arrived, and when I sad on the terrace in the evening he also came with tea and biscuits. A lovely atmosphare. The terrace upstairs have great views over the old town and perfect for sunset. Good dorms with curtains and clean toilets.

This new hostel is run by an incredibly hospitable family, with Sinan in the forefront. They welcome everybody with huge smiles & warm hearts, which creates a beautiful atmosphere. The accommodation is in one of the best locations in the old city, quiet, spotlessly clean & with bottomless cups of tea (which will always win me over)!

Nothing, really. When I was there, the weather was particularly hot, but we had a fan in the room & a/c in the common area, which helped a lot.

The hostel is nestled on a quiet street just a short walk from the old town. The rooftop terrace has a breathtaking view of the mosque and mountain backdrop. The hostel environment envelopes you with friendliness and Turkish hospitality. It’s run by a passionate backpacker and his darling family. They have lots of local recommendations to experience the city as a local. It is so clean and welcoming with endless cups of chai. Can’t recommend it enough!

Sinan and his father Mehmet have just opened Hattusa Hostel. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hostel has an outstanding location, the view from the terrace high over the mosque and town one could gaze at forever. Highly recommended.

There was a slight mix up with a double booking, but Sinan went to extra lengths to quickly sort it out, demonstrating again his desire to provide a great service.

The hostel is very clean, the people in charge are friendly and helpful The hostel manager is a former traveler so he knows many things.

Overall great place with super nice staff. There is kitchen with a stove which wasn't clear from the listing.

The biggest issue was lower bunk beds were not tall enough so not very comfortable and couldn't sit up in bed.
