How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.

Liked everything - so clean, very cute, wonderful staff, very good location - was not sure when booking originally but I think the hotel is nicer than the booking pictures - it’s very small so you need reasonable expectations - boutique not big main stream hotel

A clean and spacious room with comfortable beds and chairs. There’s a powerful shower. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. It’s very close to the pretty city centre.

Water drains slowly in shower and causes pooling, but this does seem to be some sort of a norm in the region having experienced the same thing at hotels in neighbouring countries. Bed is against the wall so you have to climb over each other to get out.
Location is fantastic and the room is charming. The bed was comfortable. Staff were really nice.

Nothing bad at all. Perfect stay!
Beautiful hotel right in the centre of Prizren. Friendly staff and a big room with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Very quiet at night and a 1 minute walk to the main centre. If I visit Prizren again I would definitely stay here.

The position of tv, all the rest is fine.

The bed was a little hard but that’s just my personal preference!

At first they said I can pay by card. When we arrived at the hotel suddenly only paid by cash. We arrived Prizren at 22:00pm after 12 hours driving from Mostar, Bosnia. We're so tired, and need to walk to find ATM machine to withdraw. Next time, they should told the guest early.
Very close to town. Very nice hotel. Everything was nice ☺️

Great location, near the main sites, restaurants, cafes and fortress. Friendly. welcoming and helpful staff Spacious, clean, comfortable room with a small balcony. Good sized bathroom.

It's a shame the card machine didn't work but I am sure that this was a problem out of the hotel's control - things are like this in Kosovo - and it's fine. Given our experience of trying to send a postcard from the main Prizren Post Office...
The location is superb - couple of minutes walk to the riverside - which means it is close to everything - but not noisy. The family who run this small hotel try very hard - they were struggling with their card machine (which was a big problem for us) - but they put no pressure on.. We stayed two nights BTW. We had to be sure of making an early bus to Skopje in North Macedonia (and horror - only 1 per day so no missing allowed!) and we asked the lady owner to book us a cab please. Given traffic and how things can be in Kosovo - despite best intentions- she left nothing to chance. She drove us there herself - a lovely surprise. And did not want any payment - just happy people like us (Brits in late 50s backpacking - are coming to her Kosovo. Bless her.

The hotel was in the center of Prizren. Super location. Super cleanliness, everything perfect. Very good staff. If I will be on the road to Prizren again, I will definitely choose Fjorr Hotel again 👍🇦🇱

Worth noting that there is no lift in the hotel, so access is only by stairs. The shower in our room also needs to have a shower curtain installed, as it is not comfortable to shower when you're spraying water everywhere. Unfortunately, our room and the stairwell did smell like cigarette smoke, despite the no smoking signs. :(
Hotel Fjorr is a super cute, boutique hotel right in the heart of old Prizren. The staff were really kind and helped to organize our parking when we arrived (side note that the guys managing the parking lot across the street were also super kind and helpful). Our room was small, but well appointed and comfortable.

It would be nice to have a place for the suitcases. Single use slippers would be better.
The location could not be better. Right in the middle of the atractions. The staff was very helpful. It's a pretty hotel.

There is not much natural light in the room.
The staff is great - every morning she asked me if I slept well and if I need anything with a smiling face. The location is perfect! It cannot get any better. The size of the room is generous. My room had a queen size bed plus a sofa that could be converted to a bed.
