How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It could be cleaner. There is a lot of outside noise.

The apartment is right next to a nightclub, and it is noisy throughout the night. As you enter the building, you are entering a building site with no lights, and the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs. None of this was communicated in the description of the property. The property does not have 3 bedrooms. The upstairs loft has a sofa with curtains around the sofa - but that does not make it a bedroom. The main bedroom is spacious but the bed in the 2nd bedroom covers the room wall-to-wall - literally. You have to get onto your bed at the bottom of the bed and there is no space to place anything else in that bedroom. This apartment would be too small for more than 2 people.

Verified reviewGreat location - central and easy to find. The host was easy to communicate with. The apartment was clean and spacious and offered all the amenities you might expect. We were picked up by a taxi organised by the host, and the same driver drove us back to the airport at a slightly cheaper rate than what the official taxis cost to and from PRN. A bakery and a small supermarket is located right outside the door, while larger shops are just a few minutes away by foot. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well.
While you cannot blame the host for this, the street dogs outside were extremely noisy during the night and I highly recommend any future guest to bring earplugs. The dogs seemed to continue to party after the downstairs club closed at midnight.

Verified reviewAn absolutely fantastic decorated apartment. Nice and clean. We felt very much at home. Brilliant communication with the host, always available via WhatsApp and prompt replies, also in regard to recommendations.
The apartment is in middle of town where all the bars and cafes are. There is cafe downstairs in the house which plays loud music until late at night which can be quite disturbing. The staircase to the apartment is in very bad shape.

Verified reviewThe place is right above an LGTB bar with a good vibe, with nice people we stopped for a drink there nice staff, Just around you is a bakery, grocery store, and a lot of bars and restaurants, on the left on the main road Local Bistro Bar is great for breakfast at 4 Euro. The apartment has self-checking ✔️
The building itself is ghetto and needs a lot of maintenance, but the apartment is nice. Advertise says 3 bedrooms which is actually two bedrooms and a sleeping sofa outside divided by curtains. Not bad though.

AC did not worked, it did not cooled the apartment at all (there were 34 degrees outside). Noisy at night (Bar downstairs + dogs). A bit worn out (kitchen especially) and untidy (for example spider web in the shower).

Verified reviewReally nice and big appartment on top location. Parking was not a problem as near is closed zone where daily parking is 7,5 EUR. All best bars and restaurants are near but appartment is possitioned ok so no noise from streets.

Verified reviewThis stay truly made our long weekend super special! The apartment is in a perfect location, in the centre of the city in a trendy area. Across 2 floors with great spaces, we found it hard to leave! There has been a lot of effort to create the perfect interior in the apartment, and it shows! The beds were comfy, and there are shops and restaurants nearby that are serving food from breakfast to dinner. The host was amazing, very available to any of our questions. Also, she helped organise trips and taxis for us at great prices. Next time I come to Kosovo I will not think twice about booking this apartment again.
Everything was to expectations and beyond, nothing we disliked.
