Reviews of Shesh Hostel

It is located in the main square of the city and has a very cheap price. Unbelievable.

The place is clean and the staff are friendly. That's why I am not rating it completely negatively

The 6-person dorm is basically a walkthrough. You have no privacy whatsoever. There are people walking around the room in the middle of the night, turning the light on and talking loudly. There is nothing you can do about it. Moreover, although it's centrally located it's above a night club (or whatever that is) and the music plays really loudly, stops at about midnight. Overall it's not miserable but I wouldn't stay there again

All the rest was disappointing. When we arrived, they told us the place was full and moved us to another location, where the hostel was awful.

The location is 10/10 and it's relatively clean.

Kitchen lacked stuff to actually cook with (pots, pans, etc.) and had no table to sit down at. Payment was challenging and pricing inconsistent. My shoes got moved to a closet outside of the hostel that I wasn't told about, and no staff in the building for me to ask - I would have lost them had a guest not helped me out.

Not recommended at all. The flat is extremely small and overcrowded with bunk beds. There's only one toilet, which was highly inconvenient. Additionally, there isn't a single chair or table available, making it very uncomfortable

I really liked the manager. He was really helpful. There's no parking there, so he actually drove with us to show us where we can park and just showed us around the squere where the hostels are located.

When we got there, we were told that it was all booked but that they have another location, literally 2/3min away and although it had all the necessities, it was basically a unfinished project type of situation. Also, there were 2 rooms and would've appreciated if they were separated into Man and Women and not mixed(even though the guys in the room were really respectful and polite). It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either.

The hostel that I had booked was overbooked and they sent me at another building that wasn't working as a hostel yet. The first day there was not even an employee when I arrived and nobody was answering my messages that I had sent through booking. When the employee arrived, he wanted to eat firstly and then to check me in. The card payments weren't accepted while it was written that they are.plus it was dirty and there was no air-conditioning.

Location was great.

Hard to find and get in. Was sleeping on a room that had balcany so everyone smoked there and room smelled like smoke. no curtains on beds.

The only advantage is that it is very close to the center. Price performance is good, don't expect too much.

Great position and price, the guy dealing with the guests and reservations is nice. Lockers and safe.

Not sure what's going on with Kosovo and Turkey, but on my 3rd stay in Kosovo on 3 different hostels, all of them were presumably managed by Turkish people and guests were almost all Turkish. Nothing against them, but be aware it might be hard to strike up a convo if you like to do such stuff when travelling solo in hostels...also the common area is minimal (small kitchen communicating with a room). Towels have one euro fee. Bathroom seemed clean enough but running out of paper.

When I arrived at the address, and contacted the owner for directions, they sent me message that they are full and won't accept me. I said that I have reservation, but they stopped communication.
