Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room and the areas used were not very clean.
The only advantage is that it is very close to the center. Price performance is good, don't expect too much.

Not sure what's going on with Kosovo and Turkey, but on my 3rd stay in Kosovo on 3 different hostels, all of them were presumably managed by Turkish people and guests were almost all Turkish. Nothing against them, but be aware it might be hard to strike up a convo if you like to do such stuff when travelling solo in hostels...also the common area is minimal (small kitchen communicating with a room). Towels have one euro fee. Bathroom seemed clean enough but running out of paper.
Great position and price, the guy dealing with the guests and reservations is nice. Lockers and safe.

lack of information from the owner about some things related with city it was very hot and stuffy in the room noisy because it was in front of one busy restaurant small rooms quite dirty

The room was generally comfortable, but unfortunately, there was a noticeable smell of smoke inside, likely due to guests smoking near the exit door.

The 6 bedroom dorm is a walk through. There is a smoking room in the hostel, and you need to walk through the 4bedroom dorm to get there. That was quite disturbing, when people were going there even when the light in our room were off + there was a constant smell of cigarettes.
The hostel is centrally located. The kitchen and bedrooms were clean, the bathroom needs better maintenance. The host was helpful.

Only one bathroom, very hot inside the rooms, smoking area right next to the rooms so the smell was everywhere, one room without the door so it was like a hall

Difficult to find, inside an apartment building. No curtains on the beds or door to the room so not much privacy.

It's a bit difficult to find but the Turkish man will be ready to call you and helps you to find the hostel . Very good job
It's like an apartment turned into a hostel. The WiFi is very fast!!!one of the best in the city. The Turkish man that works there is very helpful and speaks English. They also will give you the locker for free. Also they clean everyday!!!! On the top of that you are in the city centre. The kitchen is small but has everything.

There should be a door for the first dorm as well, because it’s connected with the kitchen. So, the room is cold & every smell of the kitchen goes inside.
Excellent location, comfortable bed, clean room, good sized lockers, great wifi & an extremely cheap price.

very noisy kitchen fridge, could have been replaced with another one less noisy.
perfect location and facilities in the hostel , very easy to climb the stairs and use of lift although a lift chip was needed. well maintained indoors nice and clean and tidy, very nice promotional locker. very comfortable sleeping mattress and comfortable duvet.

It is not a professional hostel, but basically an apartment turned into one (which is fine, but not what I expected), in which the 6-bed dorm is the living room. There were no real female and male bathrooms (only the signs), since only one of them had a shower (the only shower) and everyone used both. It wasn't that easy to find, since they don't put the floor on the address and one cannot use the elevator without a special key that's not provided (so, stairs only). Not the greatest vibe to make contacts.
Location is amazing, right in the middle of the city center. Bathroom and facilities in general were pretty clean. Comfortable bed. Fair lockers.

I found very disturbing that the guy did the cleaning at 2:30 am. Doing a lot of noise at that time and also putting cleaning products when people were trying to sleep. It’s a small place so you can hear everything. They should wait to do housekeeping in proper hours.

The 6-person dorm is basically a walkthrough. You have no privacy whatsoever. There are people walking around the room in the middle of the night, turning the light on and talking loudly. There is nothing you can do about it. Moreover, although it's centrally located it's above a night club (or whatever that is) and the music plays really loudly, stops at about midnight. Overall it's not miserable but I wouldn't stay there again
The place is clean and the staff are friendly. That's why I am not rating it completely negatively

Kitchen lacked stuff to actually cook with (pots, pans, etc.) and had no table to sit down at. Payment was challenging and pricing inconsistent. My shoes got moved to a closet outside of the hostel that I wasn't told about, and no staff in the building for me to ask - I would have lost them had a guest not helped me out.
The location is 10/10 and it's relatively clean.
