How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Staff spoke little English. No coffee served at breakfast!
Excellent location close to bus station and city centre/Old Town. Clean and spacious appartment with balcony. Good value for money.

The closest to main bus station. The hotel restaurant provides halal food, which is great!! We’re very thankful for the food & hospitality. Great Mountain view from the room & restaurant too.

The only criticism would be the breakfast portion size. I was travelling with my husband and 2 teenage boys and they were still hungry after breakfast. We didn’t really get any choice on what we had, it was just served to us.
Perfect location and exactly what we wanted for a base.

We purchased one family room and one triple room and they were both more than satisfactory. The family room was a great size and the kitchen was an added bonus. The location was perfect and we were able to walk into the centre.

No coffee included in the breakfast, also the attitude of one of the restaurant staff was not helpful or friendly. My room wasn't ready for check in even after the check in time, and I had to wait an hour or so. The reception staff was very nice and apologetic about it though.
Great room, friendly reception staff, well located near the bus station and not too far from the old town.

The safety deposit box did not work and it did say tee was a mini bar in the room when it was just a fridge.
The area was with in waling distance of the center. Staff very helpful and breakfast was very good in fact there was too much. Receptionist booked us a taxi and also invited us back to confirm afer we had checked out.

Reconstruction going on at the time of our stay. We we were given smaller room next to the reception instead of the spacious one at the end of corridor due to very loud works behind the walls during the day. We were asked to pay for the stay upon arrival however booking charged the whole amount upfront. They had to fix the issue with booking and after few chats we avoided being charged twice for the same room. Unfortunately it seemed quite quirky at first, professionally handled in the end.
Good location next to the bus station, 20 min walk to city centre, small hotel (top floor of the building), clean, comfortable bed, balcony with view, helpful staff, tasty breakfast.

At night the street can get a little bit loud.
I loved the atmosphere there and also the staff was very welcoming. It was quite clean and including the breakfast, it was a good price-performance.

The breakfast could have been better. Other hotels offer great breakfasts with milk, cereal, toast, butter, eggs, etc. Here I was sort of missing that. But I have to say the coffee was amazing.
I was able to check in very late (2 AM) and was welcomed very nicely. The hotel also has a great view and AC in the rooms.

Everything was nice
Very helpful and welcoming staff. They are smile and do their best to make my stay enjoyable. Very spacious and clean room. The balcony is large and has very nice view. 15 minutes walk to the Sinan mosque at old town and less than 10 minutes walk to the shopping street where you can find a lot of shopping centres, restaurants and malls.

I honestly couldn’t find a single thing I didn’t like about the property.
I liked everything and everyone.All the facilities were perfect,comfortable bed,spacious room,super warm and extremely clean.The girl at the reception was amazing with us,she even brought the kids some coloring stuff to play and entertain themselves.,and also helped me with the parking and the luggages.They had a really good breakfast at a very cute area.The location is very good,close to almost everything.I will for sure be coming back.

Exceptional Hotel. On the top floor of a new building. Amazing 360* view of all the city. The rooms were super clean. the staff was super polite and friendly. The Restaurant on the same Floor was a great facility. Was a great experience at this facility. I definitely will return. Is a rare find. I recommend. I really mean it.
