“The location was amazing and the view hard to stop looking at. The staff were so attentive but not oppressively so. The Battlefields tour is a must, the guide brought it all to life and was so knowledgeable. Really easy to leave the car at the museum and transfer up - the remoteness is what makes the stay special so don't be put off by the transfer.”
“Enjoyed the drive in along bumpy farm road, especially all the tongue-in-cheek signs warning Lamborghinis to turn around. Beautiful location, would advise sitting in the garden or going for a walk along the farm road beneath the main property. Room comfortable once wall plugs fixed. But breakfast was excellent! Two course cooked meal served on main deck overlooking pool.”
“Outstanding hospitality!! Bryan and Philani went out of their way to make the stay as memorable as possible. Even though I was only one person, they made a large bonfire, and both spent the entire evening talking to me and telling stories. Tent simple but comfortable with warm blankets and torch to use. Piping hot showers. All in all, a great experience!”
