Can't complain about anything. The property is stunning and modern. This was pure luxury at an affordable price. Warren was incredibly accommodating, friendly and whips up a pretty amazing dinner and breakfast! Thanks for having me.

I had such a wonderful stay at 1945 on Kloof Guesthouse. The owners’ attention to detail and care for their guests was truly amazing. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and on one evening the owner even prepared dinner for us on just an hour’s notice – it was fantastic! The rooms were very comfortable with nice beds, and everything was spotlessly clean. A really warm and welcoming place to stay – highly recommended.

The host and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing. Beautiful and clean. There was very convenient amenities like the light switches and plugs next to the bed and the distilled water in the taps. Would definitely stay there again

An absolute hidden gem! We loved everything about the property. It felt like home, very comfortable and clean and tastefully designed and furnished. If we could have extended our stay we would. Warren and his team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The service was truly impeccable.

We had originally booked an upper room on the road side , but as my husband is a light sleeper, we chose to move. You can hear traffic from some of the bedrooms during peak times so book accordingly. The guesthouse is in an area of Jhb where you would want off-road parking and a feeling of security, which this guesthouse provides.

We stayed for 3 nights in the luxury suite which is a bigger room, and has a king bed and a small private terrace. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, linen was good quality, crisp and clean, bathroom products were Moulton Brown - very special - and towels luxurious. I was impressed by the meticulous attention to detail. This room is on the garden side so very quiet, and the bathroom has thoughtful shower and toilet rails if needed. (My mother is disabled and so I am a guest that appreciates these extras.) The property has a 24-hour guard and an electric gate. Warren was available at any time to assist. He cooks himself and our delicious breakfasts deserve a special mention.

The room was a little smaller than anticipated and the noise that came from the bathroom when you turned on the light was not great.

Everything was wonderful. Attention to detail. Parking space for a SUV vehicle, most guest houses parking a challenge with a bigger size vehicle. Amenties are beautiful! Everything detail thought of.

Everything was exceptional. Warren is a fantastic host and I will definitely come and stay again. The only thing I would suggest for future guests is to ask if they would prefer one egg instead of 2 as the breakfast was a bit big to finish. Otherwise everything is amazing about the place.

It was off the beaten path a little. We could not walk to places nearby for groceries etc. And —- that was fine. We could Uber eats- which the manager did for us. He got us snacks at the end of the night because I was hungry and suffering from jet lag.

The property was beautiful. It was new and well kept. The interior was designed impeccably. The area felt super safe. We had 24 hour security. The landscaping was manicured to perfection. The balcony, living areas, dining areas all Exceeded our expectations. The manager and staff served us as if we were the only thing that mattered. We received a full large breakfast each morning at the time we requested. The manager cooked to my specifications - vegetarian. They decorated prior to our arrival for an extra special anniversary celebration. The laundry — our laundry was washed and pressed by Sympathy who took extra special care of our room.

I have no complaints, the accommodations were perfect.

I would strongly recommend this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. Special thanks to the manager Warren that did everything possible to assure I had a great stay in S.Africa. I felt very safe and comfortable at this spot and I'm impatient to to come back. My meals were tasty and my room was beautiful and spotless. What more could I say, it's was great to be treated with hospitality on my first visit. Such a wonderful experience.
