The directions sent before the visit on how to get to Cyferfontein should be clearer.

The house is spacious, luxurious and well-equipped. The best part was having the animals coming to the watering holes right in front of the deck. Lynette, the agent, was always accessible and helpful throughout our stay.

Not much not to like.

Located in the middle of the bush, with no-one around in sight. Feel completely private and secluded. The living area, kitchen and deck is superb place to spend some time.

there was no hot water in the outside cottage. Wifi not great - as online meetings needed to happen. microwave was broken.

great that animals were in the garden of the property. That we could organise a private game drive. staff were very nice.

The 20:00 curfew was bad. The ad is a bit misleading about what is available on the property. The pool is too cold for winter, a heated pool could help, mainly for winter or automn months.

The property itself is beyond reproach, its beautiful, clean and has everything you will want. The property is spectacular, the animals, the everything in the house, i have no complaints. You take a shower the full view of the animals. You wake up to the serene sounds of birds

They have withheld our R3000 deposit. They have poor replies when answering. Unprofessional staff. They accused us of damaging the property when it wasn't us.

We loved our stay here, we however have not enjoyed the fact that they will not give us back our deposit. After really looking after this place, we were accused of breaking, burning and destroying different things in the house that were already broken when we got there. They then said we must pay R6000 total in damages. After proving thay it was broken before they still withheld our deposit as they said we broke the fire pit lid (we used it as instructed and it warped) so we said get us a quote and we will talk about it. Instead they keep delaying it saying rhe owners are away (why have a property manager if they can't sort problems out whilst you're away) and now we are getting attitude and poor replies back. They still have our R3000.

The one shower head in the one bedroom was unfortunately a little blocked, but the massive bath made up for that.

The scenery and wildlife was amazing. The indoor braai made a big difference.

All the beds are comfortable and the bedding and blankets provided more than adequate, however if you prefer a soft or flatter pillow, do take your own.

Everything was fantastic! Luxurious bath and swimming towels are provided. Lovely house, will book again!

The municipal gravel road leading to the Cyferfontein Gate is in a very bad state. I would recommend that the authorities address this and get scraped as its not ideal for travelling in a normal sedan. The shower floors are slippery and would recommend that none slip mats should be considered.

The overall experience was amazing, modern holiday home with everything you need to have an exceptional break away. To wake up in the morning and open the curtains just to see four young Nyala`s drinking outside at the waterhole is very special for the family. To make an already special weekend spectacular is to see so 13x Elephants withing 30min drive in the game viewer. The Shower and bathing experience is something to get used to but very special experience.
