South AfricaThere was only one shower ( too small for a highly pregnant woman) Jacuzzi did not work heat. The cleanliness was not pleasing. Some of the pillows smelt like it wasn't changed. The guest bathroom had a weird odur. The kitchen cutlery and crockery were not washed clean. The apartment needs a small revamp with the inside dining set and upgraded crockery, cutlery, etc. Only 3 people could sit on the inside. The hosts were easy and accessible

South AfricaI was not told before I booked that no day visitors are allowed. It was my mums bday and we invited her brothers for supper. We were then told no visitors allowed. I was only given that policy on the morning I arrived. I think it should be advertised that no visitors are allowed. I am talking about people who come to visit. Another thing is that the jacuzzi was not clean. It had insects and an empty plastic coke bottle inside when we wanted to use it. It was at 2 30 when I reached the flat. I was made to wait for 30 minutes outside as I was told the agent did not inform them I was coming. I had to then phone the agent to tell them to contact the property as it was a 9hr long journey and we were already tired

South AfricaThat family was not allowed to visit. Since we were on holiday in Durban, we invited my parents who reside in Durban over for lunch, and we were told no visitors were allowed. But after speaking to the host, who spoke to the governing body.My parents were allowed to spend 2 hours with us. Another issue was that each time you needed to gain entrance and exiting the flat, security needed to be called. Which sometimes took time to get hold of security. Whilst my daughter and I were in the flat, the cleaning lady just opened the main door and came into the flat. Which we were not told that she was arriving. This was very frightening.

South AfricaThere was 1 actual shower in the 6 sleeper and it basically trickled water out against the shower wall. I messaged the owners on Friday night and reported the shower issue and again the next morning. The owners read my messages and failed to respond or acknowledge the issue. I then tried calling them multiple times in the early afternoon to no avail. I eventually asked the security guard to call them and they answered his call. The owner at first denied that he received any calls but after mentioning that they have read my messages he apologized and said they were moving houses and didn't get a chance to respond. Everything else about our stay was good and I could list the things we enjoyed but this unprofessionalism left a very negative impression.

South AfricaThe shower in the en suite was really small with very little water pressure, land up wasting a huge amount of water waiting on the hot water to come through and then its really nothing to write home about - a little more than a trickle. The ELEVATOR or instead the LACK THEREOF. The day we arrived we were told the elevator is out of order and it should be ready by Sunday, Sunday came and went and that moved to Monday .... When we left on Tuesday still NO ELEVATOR. This was a huge issue considering we travelled with a toddler and with myself being asthmatic - that did not go down well. The neighbour above was in our business wanting to know when and what time we were going to braai because of his washing or something - that created unnecessary stress about actually having a braai. The property has Security as its first priority which is great but its next level as in you may feel like a prisoner as you cannot access or exit without the security making that possible. No swimming in the pool after 8pm ... there seems to be a lot of rules restricting people.
The accommodation was really lovely, spacious, with aircon throughout. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The Balcony was absolutely fabulous - more than enough seating, the braai, jacuzzi it was a treat. The property is close to everything. You could walk along the road and find a dinner spot, coffee shop etc. Take a drive and you will find the mall .... it was very central to most things.

South AfricaI must say my husband was down for business, and I was there for leasure, but we were only given one set of keys.
We loved the jacuzzi with its beautiful sea view. The patio furniture was outstanding, and the weber was in excellent condition. The lounge was comfortable and had everything you could need or want. Loved the bar and wine fridge, the dining area was good, and the kitchen had everything you could need or want. All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished, and the beds are comfortable. The aircons all worked wonderfully, and we were not harassed by any monkeys. Lift works, and everything is very clean from the parking to the corridors.

South AfricaBOOK THIS UNIT AT YOUR OWN PERIL. You get a key for the apartment, but getting into and out of the property, you have to beg a guard to open for you, if you can find him or if he answers a phone. You do not get remotes for the property gates. Starting with the kitchen, you have random combinations of glassware and cutlery. We booked for 6 people. We got 3 glasses, 4 cups, 5 dinner plates, and a mismatched assortment of blunt cutlery. Moving to the living room, the black leather couches are comfortable, but rarely cleaned it seems. Sand and dirt fill the creases. Room 1 of 3 has no aircon, just an old fan. To add insult to injury, the linen is covered in what I can only describe as urine stains. Room 2 of 3 has an aircon but is not working. Room 3 of 3 has the only ensuite bathroom and also the only shower in the unit. There is an unrecognizable stench lingering in the bathroom that does not dissipate. We could not figure out where the smell was coming from. This bathroom also has no windows and no working extractor fan, so you have to grin and bear the smell as people make their way through a tiny shower. We tried to contact the hosts regarding these issues. They do not respond to messages or answer phone calls. Days later you will get a response apologizing and saying they had no signal for days. They will also promise to send someone to the unit to make repairs, but no one will ever show up. I am of the opinion that these hosts should be nowhere near the hospitality industry and/or property management. They severely lack the ability to provide basic services to customers, such as responding to messages and actioning reasonable concerns from well paying customers. Now I fully expect the response to this review (assuming that this message actually do get a response) will be full of excuses and trying to pass the buck, or blaming public holidays and/or blaming guests, but dear reader, do not fall for it.

AustraliaVery disorganised. Building manager didn't know I was arriving. Did not know how many people I booked for. Room was still being cleaned when I arrived. Security guards came to my door about 5 times during my stay. One time being at after 9pm at night and searched the place because they accused us of having 12 people staying over when we had 6. (I booked for 6 people to stay). Manager and guards were rude and host was not very empathetic to me and my guests after being harassed by the building management.

South AfricaEven though I get why the body corporate restricts guests having gate keys, it's a bit of an inconvenience to have to ask security to always open for you. Fortunately the security guys were very friendly.
Beautiful and spacious apartment with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The bedroom doors lead onto the balcony and offer beautiful ocean views. Having read previous reviews I was worried about the lift situation and reported trickling shower, but I'm happy to state the lift was working and the shower pressure was great, with ample hot water. The kitchen is well equipped. Definitely value for money!

South AfricaNon-disclosure: I was told on the day of arrival that the lift is not working due to maintenance. The truth is there are no lift, not since the floods ......... The whole system is being re installed. It is not fun taking luggage & groceries from the basement to the 3rd floor up the stairs . The stairs also has no lights from time to time , since they are working on the electricity meters. The shower and bath room ceiling was not clean with black mould between the tiles and on the roof.

South AfricaCleanliness was an issue. Dirty Couches, Mould in the Shower, dirty bathtub, dirty pots. The jacuzzi didn't work. The TV was in a poor state, had lines on the screen and picture was glitching. The last 2 days we couldn't watch DSTV. Someone else was using the streaming service. The toaster only toasted the bread on one side. The state of the frying pan was shocking. Old and scratched to bits. Its was massively disappointing so I unfortunately will never return. Over promised and underdelivered. The pillows on the bed was incredibly bad and uncomfortable. Those need replacing.
