We had an absolutely magical stay at AfriCamps Magoebaskloof—a true gem nestled in the forested heart of Limpopo. This place offers a perfect blend of immersive nature, peaceful energy, and thoughtful comfort. A heartfelt thank you to Jordan, the on-site manager, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience seamless and memorable. His genuine care and warm presence set the tone for a truly relaxing getaway. The forest garden around the tents felt like a Zen sanctuary—lush, still, and deeply calming. Whether walking among the trees or simply sitting and soaking in the stillness, we felt completely grounded and present. The hot tub overlooking the forest was our favorite spot—there’s something incredibly healing about soaking in warm water while listening to the sounds of birds and breeze through the trees. If you’re seeking a refreshing escape in nature—where simplicity meets soul and every detail feels intentionally placed—AfriCamps Magoebaskloof is a must. We left feeling renewed, reconnected, and already planning our return.

Some units may have limited cellular reception, but Wi-Fi is available at the shop and restaurant., Note that there is a short stretch of dirt road leading to the property, though it is fairly easy to navigate.

An ideal spot for a weekend getaway. The tent is fairly spacious, immaculate, and well-equipped, with our unit having offered breathtaking views of the surrounding garden/forest. The wood-fired hot tub is a delightful touch, adding an extra element of fun to our stay. The Cheerio gardens, with the charming, meandering pathways through the property are absolutely stunning, teeming with lush plant life, bird species and butterflies! Some basic essentials and tasty local snacks can be found at the Cheerio café / shop. Jordan was an excellent host, sharing the fascinating history of the property and town, and provided excellent recommend ations for local activities and restaurants.

We arrived at 20:30. Upon arrival we noticed that they already cut small pieces of wood to be ready. They assisted to keep the fire for the tub going the next day when we left, to find the water ready. They go the extra mile by doing small things you didnt expect. Looking forward to coming back so we can spend a whole week instead of only 2 nights.

The towels was smelly, it would have been nice if there was an outside place to hang them to air and dry.
