The views were great from the spacious balcony (saw whales breach), lots of chairs and pillows for morning coffee and sunset cocktail hour. The location is perfect for walking to dinner and back, and even a long walk to the southern-most tip of Africa if you want some exercise. It was very clean, had everything you need to make breakfast or do light cooking, and the bathrooms were very functional with lots of fluffy bath towels and plenty of hot water. Nice to have a washing machine and drying rack when you are traveling for a while. Closet space, clothes hangers, storage cabinets, flat surfaces, power outlets by the beds... all the little things that make it comfortable to settle in and stay for a few days. Decent wifi to do what we needed to online. Safe and quiet neighborhood and town. We really enjoyed staying here, it felt so inviting and relaxing. We actually stayed here in the smaller studio apartment 6 years ago and are glad we came back.

There was no wardrobe to pack the clothes in and this was challenging for a 3 night stay, especially because the apartment was compact with not much space.

Great views and the apartment was compact, but comfortable and private. We had great weather and were able to make use of the braai facilities.

Great communication with the host which wasn’t present but arranged everything for a perfect check-in. Location is easy to find, everything inside was as described, except the view…it’s 10000 times better! The captains view can’t be beaten, it’s hard to leave the patio nor the seats by the window! Would recommend without hesitation!

It would be nice if Captain’s View had a chest of drawers so one could unpack one’s suitcase.

Excellent location with off-road parking. Very well equipped, especially the bigger accommodation, “Sunrise Cottage”. However, “Captain’s View” has a fabulous view of the sea which includes the iconic Cape Agulhas Lighthouse. It is also within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Loved this little piece of paradise. We decided to go on a last minute trip and it was the best little getaway. The location is prime and the decorations are so cute. One of the best parts was how lovely and accommodating the hosts are. They made sure we knew how to access the property and really made our weekend stay amazing. 100% would go back. What a gem of a stay :) thanks so much.

While we loved our accommodation, the weather played a huge part in that we were unable to enjoy the private braai area to its fullest- very windy!
