Some of the decor was tasteful unfortunately being Christian, it was a bit unnerving as it was a very eastern mythologically based.

Wayne and Dirk were incredible hosts, with Petty the head of house, being incredibly friendly. The rooms were immaculate, with each offering a very special feature, ours being a wonderful jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking 180° ocean view.

The air conditioner in our room stopped working properly and we were feeling cold one night, but no big deal.

The friendly hosts and staff, the location, beautiful views, delicious breakfast and honesty bar. Everything was amazing. We also got a free room upgrade which was really great. We will definitely go back again.

Incredible views! The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. We stayed in the royal honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi on the deck and the room was beyond amazing and very comfortable! The breakfast was very good and included with the room. It was too cold to use the pool but the pool and jacuzzi area was so beautiful and had great views.

Slightly tortuous roads up to the hotel but worth it for the panoramic views.

This small (6 rooms) boutique hotel rivals any 5 star luxury hotel anywhere in the world. Beautifully furnished with friendly and personal attention from Wayne, Dirk and all the staff. Great breakfasts individually prepared.

Exceptional!!! We arrived at the accommodation after a very long journey from the UK. We were greeted by Petty with a warm and friendly smile. Petty showed us to our room which was incredible, the decor, furnishing and terrace were amazing! We stayed at the guest for four nights, the staff were attentive and always greeted us by name, something we do not see in the UK. The owners Wayne and Dirk are wonderful, Wayne cooked amazing breakfasts! Dirk was on hand with advice on places to visit and restaurants to explore. Our stay at the Alexander will stay in our memory forever. We were sad to leave after four days! The BEST GUEST house on the heads!

Incredible decoration like a 5* boutique hotel, with very comfortable bed, furniture and so many other facilities. The hosts and all the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly going out of their way to satisfy our every requirement.

Great double shower but a bit problematic achieving the correct temperature

Great looking b&b run by 2 professional chaps who undoubtedly trained their staff to a very high standard. The Captain suit is impressive and very comfortable, the breakfast choice is also impressive and prepared with great skill and care. If we will ever come back to South Africa, this would be one of our stops.

This was service above and beyond, all staff greeted us by name at all times. The house and rooms are just amazing, warm and inviting. We were just blown away. Breakfast was so well presented and delicious. Wayne & Dirk are amazing hosts and we will highly recommend a visit to this Guest House .. it is a must and the views are just incredible

Everything! Many lovely touches, such as cheese & biscuits and glass of wine on arrival and bedtime chocolate. Hosts and staff were all very welcoming and made us feel special. Really good breakfast, and we loved the bar! Large bedroom and bathroom with pleasant private outdoor area.
