Just to be mention: The bedroom with a double bed is separate, and you must go out of the room on the open terrace before you step into the main area with the bathroom, lounge, and kitchen.The cottage has an single bedroom inside and next to the bathroom with a toilet and shower.

It is very quiet and I fall in sleep with singing frogs during the night.The cottage has all that you need for a stay, also suitable for longer stays. The property has a nice garden, with overall small details with pot and plants. Three very cute Alpacas can be feeded with carrots. A mongoose came in the evenings. It is a nice spot for nature lovers who like it rustic with some comfort. Walking distance to the ocean and shops. The nature trails are some meters away, and I will not forget to mention the lovely host, we had a very pleasant stay, ideal for nature lovers.

As animal lovers, we loved the multiple animals on the site! The couple running it were absolute gems and were extremely pleasant! They gave us carrots every day to feed the alpacas and were a great chat!

The kitchen is really small.

The hostess went out of her way to tell us about nice spots we could visit while we were there. I also liked all the animals and privacy of the cottage. The cottage also had everything that you might need on your stay.

Having to open and close a manual entry gate from the road in windy/rainy weather wasn't fun - though the hosts and neighbours were very obliging when around. I would have liked to have been able to park undercover as the birds nest in the trees overnight and cause a bit of a mess. However I guess that's part of the charm of the venue. Neither of these would stop me staying over in the future though.

The hosts were fantastic, friendly and very welcoming. The accommodation was rustic but comfortable. Loved the outdoor space and most especially all the animals & birds - feeding the alpacas was a hi-lite.

We absolutely have no complaints, we really enjoyed our stay.

Very peaceful an only sound that we heard was the birds. My son really enjoyed himself, he really wanted to stay longer. The owners were very friendly an made sure we were comfortable, had our privacy and there's everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting again.

Thank you so much for the incredible stay! It was such a peaceful rustic location and feeding the alpacas was such an amazing experience. The cottage was neat and clean and had its own patio and braai facilities. It is also walking distance to the main beach and the local shops and restaurants.

More space in the kitchen.

The cottage is cosy and Hannelize's attention to detail is second to none. From the water carafes next to the bed to the board games, kids books, soap in the shower and the spices in the kitchen. These little things were unexpected and so appreciated. And of course the endless buckets of carrots for the Alpacas were the best.

The second bed had no mattress protector and a slippery nylon sheet. Damp causing musty smell, paint peeling in toilet, discolored upholstery. Toilet cistern took 20 minutes to refill.

A summer venue, We liked garden, braai area but our visit was in winter and as it was for work, we weren't there during the day to enjoy this. The alpacas were very sweet. This is a perfect venue for people with small children. there are soft toys and games and a changing mat and a spare mattress for a forth child to use in the lounge. Comfy bed in main bedroom but second bed uncomfortable with poor fitting linen. Good budget accommodation.

Kitchen very small, not suitable for preparing meals but with everything needed for warming food or making coffee/tea. Small bathroom, shower needs a good clean, and sliding door broken. 2nd bedroom very small, bed more three-quarter size than double.

The whole place needs a bit of a deep clean but otherwise no complaints

The location is great - close enough to walk to beach/ shops and nature reserve but far enough away from main road so you don't get road noise. The alpacas are sweet and my daughter loved feeding them from the endless supply of carrots provided. The host made sure we had everything we needed and more. Good wi-fi

Unfortunately the place is cluttered and feels like it needs a deep clean. With the amount of load shedding now days atleast a gas stove and kettle would have helped enormously. The rooms are full of mosquitoes.
