The heater wasn’t working so during the winter the stay has little warmth. There should also be an iron jn the room.

Breakfast is great. The location is perfect for its proximity to Steve Biko Hospital (an 8 minute walk). The neighbourhood is treed and suitable for a pleasant walk and there is a convenience store 2 blocks away. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The decor of the bedroom was dated and dark making the room very dark given the sloping garden. The pool was too small to actually swim in.q

A beautiful secluded garden, high security surroundings in a peaceful suburban location just north of the city. The bathroom was huge and well fitted and the bedroom a good size.

I will never ever go back to this place, we got the worst treatment ever. From being told to keep it down at 15h00pm just 2 ladies seating by the pool area and waiting for our other 2 friends to arrive. I've never been to a guest house were you are told to talk softly at 15h00pm. The rooms were just a disappointment. When we were about to check out the following morning we were told we are not allowed to leave the premises and our car was blocked from leaving. Apparently there was a Take a lot parcel that went missing and they searched our car only to find that one of the colleagues took the package and did not inform them. They did not search the other cars which were on the premises. We did not get any apology or so whatever. If you are black please do yourself a favor and don't book at this place. Our weekend was a nightmare.

Everyone was complementing on how good the breakfast was and the staff. Firstly the guy my friends found on the premises (since I was running behind for our check in) was rude to my friends. One of the rooms booked booked included breakfast which was never received. I texted the number that was texting me the day before to ask when breakfast was served, no one replied. I honestly was disappointed considering we were not staying there for free or using a voucher 🙄🙄

We enjoyed the garden area and the pool area. The wifi was also pretty good

Very old linen in my room, stayed for 4 nights,my room was never cleaned, linen not changed , no refill of sugar in room for 4 days,dustbin not emptied, no one ever checked on me during my stay till I complained on day 3, there is a dog In the premises. I was told they don't check the room coz it was student room, yet i booked online as an adult with a child The pictures on line are deceiving

They put us in a room where the bed was unfortunately full of urine. The bed was full of urine, the sheets smelled. After finding this out we called them to come see the situation and they didn't bother coming into the room but gave us a different room. It was clear to us from there that they knew about the urine and chose to still put people in the room. Another thing is there is a huge dog not mentioned in the listing. We have a huge phobia for dogs and if we knew we wouldn't have booked but they tell us when entering the room.

The guest house is perfectly situated for where we were going and is very close to the city centre if that is what you are looking for. It is very quiet so that is something to look forward to. It has a beautiful garden too.
