We were only at Badgers Lodge for one night but it was perfect for what we wanted. Rooms are beautiful and clean. A short drive into Knysna. We had to leave early so missed breakfast but overall we would highly recommend.

Amazing!! From the time we entered, we received a warm welcome from the host. The rooms are clean and have everything that you need. The breakfast was great, and what an incredible, tranquil property.

The design, layout and rooms. Felt comfortable and authentic. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The whole lodge is extremely well kept and feels brand new. We only stayed for one night but could easily stayed for a week.

The entire team was very welcoming. The property was mostly very quiet and clean. The breakfast spread was delicious. I loved the pool and sun deck and the little bar/chill area, too. I spent a full week there and it was definitely value for money.

Amazing and definitely worth staying at! I wish I'd stay there longer. It's located in the calm residential area in Knysna with lots of beautiful vegetation around and nice garden view, and it's managed by lovely hosts who can give you valuable advice about things to do in the region. I enjoyed the design of the outdoor area, and the rooms were super cozy and well-designed too. And I'd also highlight that furniture, walls, floor are new and fresh there, no renovation works are needed, unlike in many other tourist accommodations in South Africa. It adds a big value to the living experience. All necessary facilities, like A/C, fridge, equipped private bathroom, parking, pool, are available and in good conditions. 3 mins on foot, there is a cool restaurant with delicious food named 'Social eatery' in case you are lazy to drive to the city center for diner (but driving is still quick, around 5 mins). I have no any single minus to indicate. It was a perfect stay and I do recommend this place.

Beautiful location above Knysner - you need a car. The room was lovely as were the views. Pool also an added bonus. All who worked there were lovely

Loved the round rooms, plenty of space and very comfortable beds. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was great! They also have two gorgeous friendly dogs on the property but don’t worry if you don’t like dogs, they’re kept separate but we wanted to meet them!

We felt that the little ‘extras’ in the room were pretty scarce. There was no water for the kettle, we were only given teabags/milk etc for one day rather than the two we had booked for and we had to ask for dry towels than the wet ones that hadn’t been replaced. I think that the money we paid warranted at least supplies including soap/ shampoo etc for the whole duration of our visit rather than just for one day. Apart from that our stay was comfortable.

It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were extremely helpful.
