Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaThe property smelled horrible. Pots were dirty when we got there yet we were charged R150 for living them unwashed. Checkout is 9am-10am. Though at 9am we had a lady telling us we must leave. Nothing is clear, j also blame booking.com next time please put breakage fee on top as well so a person can decide there and there if they want the property or not, this thing of being asked for breakage fee when it's time to get keys is really not on. I felt scammed the accommodation was really disappointing Nothing feels clean yet you pay R450 for cleaning services plus R150 if you left pots un washed. I only stay for 1 night but really didn't feel at home

South AfricaI didn't like the host! She made staying on the property very uncomfortable. She has no people's skills and if you don't obey her she deducts from your deposit. If there is baby formula dropped on the bedding she advises she will charge extra for washing. She expects you to take out your garbage when leaving. It's not a holiday with all the rules and regulations in place. You have to be afraid to use anything cause of the host behavior. She even gave us the incorrect security code and said we jammed the boxed and said she has to charge for callout but she initially gave the wrong code. You won't feel you on holiday cause you not free with all the rules. you also have to alert the owner of any issues you find otherwise she will charge it as if you did it.
I liked the atmosphere and the quietness.

The owner of the place was arrogant and inconsiderate. Accused us of stealing a remote control of a tvless apartment. She has not returned my so called deposit. Horrible experience.

South AfricaThe owner on the property forced me to pay an extra R400 after paying booking. Com R3242 as per the advert. She told me 4days before that I need to pay R1000 as the security if I break something. Nothing was stolen and broken in her property. I called her when I leave and told her that the box where I was expected to leave the key both are not working. She said se will tell her cleaner to go and check. Few nimute she confirmed that both box were not lock. And nothing was stolen or broken in the property. She told me she will ask the technician to look for it the next day on Monday. She confirm to me that both box are not broken. I then asked her when I will get my deposit. She said after 7 days. Today 23 June I asked regarding my refund she said she won't give it to me because I did not lock the box. Those two box were not in good condition I even take a video trying to lock but it was not working. Please assist me I feel she was dishonest by saying I will get my refund and on top of that I left her property clean I even send pictures to her but still is refusing to give me back my R1000. I have been using booking.com it the first time I'm experiencing this. Please assist getting my refund. .

South AfricaThe hosts required a R1000 deposit. No pre-inspection was done upon arrival with the host and the same applies during check out. Days after checking out the host sent a message that we have damaged their TV (TV had no sound allegedly). During the course of our stay no one used the TV. When I asked for evidence of this, they simply sent a video which doesn't show that the TV had no sound. Instead they alleged that the TV had fallen n had scratches on it, mind u me this is a wall mounted TV. Amazing that a TV would fall and yet the LCD is not impacted by damaged n only the speakers. Absolutely amazing n shocking that such is possible. In all my travels I'm reluctant of places that require security deposits especially where no pre n post inspections are done.

United StatesWas not expected what we thought according to when we made our reservation. The was busy on our arrival and swept the rubbish onto the corridor. Geyser was not switched on had to make a call and they did apologize. Bedding was not ironed. Unruly tenants upstairs we had no control over as they partied and very loud till early hours of the morning. We mentioned it to the security and apparently it occurs every weekend and they could not control the situation. Was not a pleasant stay at all.
