Although it was a bushveld/lodge unit. The cleanliness was not quite up to standard in my opinion.

The absolute most beautifull scenery and bushveld feel. The beds were very comfortable and the unit well laid out. The outside shower was amazing.

The road to the lodge from the main road is dirt road and quite long - 22km BUT it was so worth it!

The staff were lovely! The meals were exceptional! The beds were SO comfy! We felt so at home!

Absolutely wonderful place, wish we could have stayed longer. Cobus and karen are the most amenable and accommodating hosts. We had a beautiful room which overlooked a garden frequented by warthog, wildebeest and other fauna. We walked the trails on our own and saw giraffe, nyala and many other antelope. It was amazing to have the bush trails to ourselves as we like to be independent ( you can have a guide if you like) the meals were delightful and cooked to perfection. We loved staying on this reserve and it deserves all the success.

A wonderful place in a beautiful and quiet setting. Great hosts! Sooo comfortable beds - and the kids certainly made the most of the pool as well as the pool table. Very relaxing! Breakfasts as well as dinner was very nice.

The hostess Karen was extremely helpful, and so very friendly, the facilities was clean and they really spoiled us by the honeymoon decorations they made on the bed and the bathroom, most impressive place we stayed so far, i will recommend them anytime.

Wonderful stay. Able to accommodate our group comfortably with lovely communal areas and private bedrooms. Very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed being able to explore the farm and area freely with nobody else around. Lovely hosts, and the onsite butchery was awesome.

The bedrooms and bathroom are a little bit outdated, but okay.

Very friendly and hospitable owners. They gave us a warm welcome and they served us a delicious dinner and a good breakfast.

The gravel road is a bit tricky, you must take it easy.

The breakfast served at Belvedere Game Ranch was truly amazing and delicious, fit for champions. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, and this one did not disappoint. I appreciated the fact that the ranch was located far from the bustling noise of the city, allowing me to relax and unwind. Karen and Cobus, the hosts, were wonderful and welcoming, making me feel happy and at ease. On my way out, I made a quick stop at their Game Meat and Abattoir and Butchery, where I bought some amazing biltong, a South African delicacy, for the road. I highly recommend stopping by the butchery before you exit the property. I wish Karen, Cobus, and the rest of the staff all the best for the future. I will recommend this place to my friends.

If it was warm light instead of bright light it would be perfect. I am very picky on lights!!!! Bright lights make us look sick! LOL I had to think about a negative comment! The mirror in the bathroom is a bit too high, I am short!! These are not negative comments. These are just comments to become perfect 🥰

A hidden gem in the middle of nowhere! Karen and Cobus are wonderful hosts. The decor is just great. We were privileged to stay there. We had a really really good dinner with impalas steak. I did not want to leave!

The Belvedere was just amazing and better than expected! This lovely place has everything you need. We had a big game drive with Andries where we could explore the african bush. Klara cooked us a wonderful dinner and Karen prepared our breakfast. It was a very nice time and we learned a lot about the (wild)life in south africa. I hope we can come back again. :)
