Our stay at Blue Fern in Knysna was excellent. The place has all the necessary amenities for the traveler. The room was spacious, with its own terrace, the bed was very comfortable, and the refrigerator, television and bathroom worked perfectly. We liked the location of Blue Fern very much because it is located in a very quiet, nice and safe residential neighborhood and 5 minutes walk from a supermarket. The breakfast prepared by the owners themselves was very good, in our case we tried a great English breakfast. By far the best thing about this place are the hosts, who very kindly guided us to visit the city and its surroundings. Steve recommended several tours that turned out to be a success. We highly recommend Blue Fern and would definitely come back.

We had a large, comfortable room with a large bed and a sofa bed. Friendly owners that prepare the good breakfast that is included. Very quiet neighbourhood. A small swimming pool brings relief on a very hot day. I forgot my Visa card and they text me, so I could return to pick it.

The property had everything as advertised. Very quiet place, close to all amenities. The hosts were fantastic. After I checked out of the property, Christa phoned and informed me that I had forgotten my expensive earphones at the property. She even packed it nicely for the couriers. Very accommodating.

I didn’t relax outside as that isn’t too vibey, but to stay it’s perfect.

Quiet location despite being close to the N2. Safe area. Spacious room, kind owners that even made breakfast to go when I left early. Excellent shower with always warm water.

Well located. We had a large, comfortable ensuite room. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. Will definitely book with them again. The place is well suitable for a group booking as well.

Light circuit breaker tripped due to a fault . Luckily was late at night so didn't need it and the bedside lamps still worked so wasn't an issue. Brought it to the owners attention in the morning who was going to get an electrician to rectify ASAP

Neat and clean. Beds are comfortable. Room has a kettle and fridge and has TV with Open View channels. Outside is a pool for the hot days. Parking is off street and safe. Host very friendly and they also serve breakfast. Safe area and close to a Spar for those that need something. Waterfront and Knysna heads within 5 min of the establishment. Very pleasant stay

A safe good locality. Rooms were clean and had most amenities. Host was accommodating despite we doing a late check in. They guided us to the close by SPAR store which is a 5-7 minutes' walk. Was extremely helpful to have eating joint and SPAR close-by. Very close to township too. Morning goodies was unexpected but a great touch! Extremely value for money and safe place. There could be a bed heater as it was cold in August.

Neat nice place in a safe good locality. A must for stay in SA. The host were very accommodating and helpful. We checked in late. They guided us to the close by place (SPAR) which is just 5-7 minutes Walk where we could pick up everything including dinner. Complete value for money. Had all needed amenities. Only downside we could get is absence of bed heater. Being August month, it was really cold. Will recommend this place of stay.

Cutlery needs attention. Bedding old fashion. Owner very unfriendly. Communication bad. Nobody answers any telephones. Nobody came to check in with us during the 2 day stay.

The apartment is spacious, neat and clean. Very nice shower.
