1. The lack of creativity with breakfast, you can't serve the same breakfast day in and day out, variety is key! 2. The space at the breakfast table is of concern, guests don't necessarily want to sit arm to arm with strangers during breakfast. (Consider bringing in a few smaller tables to accommodate privacy) 3. Maybe they could re-consider the bathroom layout (Unit 3), the door opens against the toilet which makes it very uncomfortable to get in and out of the bathroom.

1. The fact that the place is easy to find. 2. Parking is close to the rooms. 3. It's a quiet atmosphere. 4. The owner and staff are friendly people.

Beautiful old property with gorgeous grounds and garden. Very comfortable room and bathroom was well-appointed. Small kitchenette with basic appliances for dinner, breakfast was included and served in diningroom and was generous and tasty.

This is not a complaint but a suggestion. On the top back rest of the couch in the bedroom is a wire protruding through the upholstery. On of our jackets that was lying on the couch got hooked on the wire and was badly damaged. Please fix this so this doesn't have to happen to future guests.

What a great B&B, a warm greeting from Patrick. The location was magnificent and a real comfortable place to stay away from home. Will definitely be going there on our next trip to Pietermaritzburg.

Facilities for having a light snack in our room a bit cramped. After working all day, we did not feel like trying to find a convenient restaurant and there did not seem to be much in the immediate vicinity anyway. The gate and garden pillars need a coat of paint - the table cloth on the little table on the verandah of our room had a hole in it - just looked a bit in need of freshening up.

Location lovely. The area is lovely - quiet with many lovely big trees, lovely garden. but the gate and garden pillars need a coat of paint. Our host, Patrick, was very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was perfectly cooked!!! No problems with security.

There's nothing I did not like just to cover between the bottom of the door and the mats to avoid lizards coming in. Beside that the place is perfect.

Patrick was a fantastic host, the room was very comfortable and very cute. Location was great, within easy reach of several good places to explore. Would highly recommend!

Tree branches are falling on to the roof randomly. It became irritating at some point.

I loved the garden, it is very serene and beautiful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the area was quiet, away from the city's noise. This is where you want to rest, after a long day working or where you want to take time out.

Nothing could have been better

A fabulous B&B. The owner was so friendly. The cottage I stayed in was really comfortable. They had coffee and tea and fresh milk in the fridge. The bed was super comfy. I loved the small touches like the shower cap (always a winner). It was quiet I slept so well. The breakfast was delicious. So many options of yoghurt, cereal, juice and plunger coffee. All in all a great stay I will definitely stay again when I’m in PMB
