Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The showers leak in the presidential suite both of them. They should at least have a kitchenette in there. The main entrance needs a curtain

Finding the entry was somehow difficult but it's indeed a good place

We couldn't sleep on both days there was too much noise as if we slept next to the tarven, other guests going up and down making noise and drunk.
The place is nice and clean with the sea view and most very close to the place I've travelled to

No mirrors in the bathroom. Had to ask for kitchen equipment from reception in the morning

Promised microwave, iron, cleaning and toiletries. None of the above. Wary of safety at night due to electric locking systems . Generator, alternate power not available. The streaming facilities listed ,not functioning and no one on site knew how to access
View, room, wifi, staff, facilities. Decor. Room furnished well, air con a bonus. Tip.... supply mozzie plugs to guests

Just a bit more activities.. The only downfall was not having a microwave at the rooms..
I like the fact that my room was upstairs n the see view at the balcony was breath taking. The pool area was amazing. The host was welcoming, staff very friendly. I am definately going back December

We booked a standard double with the balcony and sea view room online but they gave us something else downstairs which we didn’t book, after we complained the manager manage to make some arrangements to get us the rooms upstairs.
We had free meals on New Year’s Eve,1st of January they was a event they offered us free lunch and dinner which was delicious😋👌

Anly if they can at least provide cleaning materials like brooms for guests staying longer coz they were not cleaning our rooms as we booked from Sunday to Wednesday.
I liked everything about the accommodation, it was relaxing and quiet with beautiful view. The staff was friendly expecially Nondumiso, she was exceptionally. She will come come and check in our rooms if everything is OK, we slept well, do we need anything for our room. And when she was off we could tell. Her customer service is the best.

My bedroom did not have a curtain it just had a net. I feel a curtain is necessary for privacy as the room was on the ground floor. Also if a carpet can be added to the doorway to wipe off feet and shoes that may have sea sand so that this is not tracked into the chalet. My unit did not have a kettle. Coffee and tea supplies were provided but no kettle. Two other units did have a kettle though. There is a braai area however it is only on one side of the resort which is quiet a distant away from my units. There is also no seating or even a tap at the braai area.
I booked 4 rooms as we were a large group. I am glad that all the rooms were close to each other. There was ample parking and the property is right on the beach. There were lapas available so that we could relax outside even though it was raining. The pool was also awesome and clean.

It was not easy to find property and the GPS was throwing us out. The phone was not answered. There are no clear signs or direction boards. There are ants in the property our food was spoiled we had to throw it away.
