The hosts are friendly, accommodating and helpful at all times. The rustic yet modern-built bush cottage is nestled privately in the heart of nature, situated in a beautiful tranquil neighborhood close to Hoedspruit town with shops and restaurants. It is not even an hour's drive to Orpen Gate, to visit the much loved Kruger National Park. Sonja and Gavin go to great lengths to make sure one feels welcome and at ease. Aside from the place being spotless, extra attention has gone into making sure that you have everything you need. With a well-maintained garden and its impala lelies in bloom, hidden gems welcome any bird lover. The house provides safe parking and a braai & boma area to enjoy, with the Blyde River Canyon as a backdrop. A private outdoor shower under the stars gives this stay that added unique experience. Thank you for your hospitality.

It is a little bit close to a road that is fairly busy

no collection of keys and no return of keys, accommodation was open and keys were left in the door. Access through gate with prior given codes makes it very easy.

Everything - the peace and quietness. The nature and mountains around us were breathe taking. The cabin is very modern, and fully equipped. We will surely return to Cosy Corner.

One thing I did notice, GPS isn't accurate, but place well marker and noticed when we drive past.

Argh it's such a beautiful place, we hate the fact we could not stay abit longer as we were too busy experiencing the area. Definitely worth coming back.

When the power goes it, the water does too because they use an electric pump to get water from the tank.

The location is close to a lot of sites. Lots of animals to see, like red head lizards, monkeys, giraffes, oh and they have a lion farm next door to the property so that was cool too.

We loved everything.

Imagine someone built the perfect country cottage and then handed you the keys to the door. That is exactly how we felt. The design and furnishings are of the highest quality, with everything you need provided. Sonja and Gavin are excellent hosts, and all our needs were catered for immediately. We loved that the cottage is far enough outside of Hoedspruit to give you the bushveld experience, but close enough to everything. I will never get enough of the view from the porch.

I wish more dish towels and bathing towels were available in the cabin. 1 set of bath towels for 5 nights isn’t enough.

That Gavin built the cabin, from top to bottom is quite impressive and very well thought out.

I truly love the place. Everything you need for a relaxing stay with numerous extras. Gavin actually built the place and you can feel the love put into the house. I want to live there!

It is difficult to find fault as all needs were catered for to ensure a relaxing stay.

The cabin was neat and in a very good condition. Relaxing music was playing which created a relaxing atmosphere. All needs were met for self catering and great facilities.

The loadshedding time slots resulted in no water for showering as the pumps need electricity.

Our host Gavin was very kind and accommodating in every respect. The accommodation was extremely clean and everything we needed was available. We were very well placed to visit our family in Kampersrus with ease. We spent four very comfortable nights in our accommodation and I would definitely book at Cosy Corner again.

The owners are the most lovely people you will ever meet. They will try to do everything so that your stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The cottage is designed with very good taste and great attention to details. It is equipped with everything you will ever need during a stay. Even the braai was set up when we arrived, you could just put some steaks on the grill and you would have dinner. From the terrace you have a lovely view of the mountains, a perfect setting for that morning coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed for longer.
