Mark, you may like to consider 'kitchen noise' in the dining area - we found it disconcerting.

Delightful setting in a beautiful house. Our room upgrade was very unexpected, and was appreciated. The host staff are very pleasant, and Mark, Liz and Jeanette all made every effort at being welcoming. The gardens, bird life and views are terrific. Ideally positioned for road-transit. Meals provided were adequate, supported by a well stocked honours-bar.

Only one easy chair in the double room. It would be good to get a twin bed option. The double bed is small for a tall person

2nd stay. My sisters shared a family room in the main house, which was lovely. Our room was more basic. The accommodation is sparkling clean. The garden is outstandingly beautiful. The meal was very good, particularly the oxtail, which was delicious. Portions are generous. Our host was very helpful with organizing power to our camping fridge.

It was very comfortable, clean and the staff were so friendly. The house is absolutely beautiful. We loved the fact that we could braai for ourselves with supplied cutlery and crockery! Lovely experience.

Absolutely nothing

The gardens surrounding the property is amazing. Very peaceful and quiet, just what the soul needs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and they even catered for us at last minutes notice. I felt welcome, enjoyed my surroundings and had amazing service, food and rooms. Thank you! Will definitely return when I’m in South Africa again.

The bed in room 6 is a little bit hard. But otherwise, there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

I always go back, as I love the location and lovely surroundings, beautiful garden, friendly staff and lovely food. Always a warm welcome when I arrive.

I would have preferred to stay in a room where there were fewer stairs to get to it.

Breakfast was adequate. The process itself was a bit disorganised and there didn't appear to be any supervision.

The short dirt road stretch but it was well maintained. Larger signs at the main road where the turn off is would help to avoid overshooting. Once turned the signage was very clear

There was nothing I felt that could be improved - it was all wonderful

This is an absolute gem of a guesthouse based in Louis Trichardt. My only negative is that I would have preferred two nights instead of just the one! This was a stopover en route up to the Northern regions of the Kruger Park but would have loved two nights here. The hospitality we received was superb, the food was excellent and the friendliness of everyone - owners and staff alike - was exceptional! We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Location is just out of town, giving it a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Dinner and Breakfast was superb! Friendly and helpful staff. No complaints at all!

Firstly when you enter the premises you are amazed by the long beautiful trees along both sides of the driveway towards the parking area. The place is so tranquil and the garden is well kept. At reception you are welcomed by friendly staff and owner. The family room we had booked was spacious and clean and had a balcony area overlooking the pool site and beatiful gardens. The breakfast was delicious, the whole family enjoyed what was prepared. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Would love to visit the place again soon.

Breakfast was good, but fruit was not present and something sweet to put on the bread was not present. Breakfast was more English orientated (beans, scrambled eggs and bacon. This is only a minor comment.
