The service was bad, and the receptionist was so unprofessional attending to us without her shoes on, and they even looked dirty. The fridge and the microwave did not work, and when I needed assistance with that, there was no one at reception to assist even called their number, the one that appeared on the app but no one answered

The shower doesn’t have a curtain and makes a mess and we were only given one set of towels (after asking and having to fetch them downstairs) so there was nothing to use for the mess. We asked for the iron 3 times and when we eventually got it, it didn’t even come with an ironing board. We were told we were not allowed to use the microwave as well. We had to wait for a while every time we tried to use the gate because no one was there.

It’s clean and the beds are comfortable.

Communication is very bad, when I checked, staff didnt explain to me that they had some trouble with electricity, im not talking about load shedding, that place doesnt have electricity at all they are using generator/solar, we couldn't charge our phones, no hot water to bath with. This was supposed to be explained to me when i checked in but no you only see it when you go into your room. i had a very bad experience.

It was only this time that i was disappointed with the room i got. Our door failed to lock even after getting help from staff. We didn’t have towels,there was no toilet paper in place,and soap.

The property is very beautiful,it has nice rooms,it clean.The staff is friendly and helpful.

Extremely disappointing stay on the 8th of Aug 2025. Staff were unprofessional - one attended to us in tights, bra, unzipped jeans, and a towel on her head. One room wasn’t ready despite full payment, and we waited over an hour to check in. Other guests were also complaining about water and electricity. Next morning at 4 AM, there was no water or power, forcing us to find another place to shower. We cut our stay short but were refused a refund. Poor service, zero professionalism, and basic amenities not provided. I will never return and cannot recommend this lodge.

The room had a horrible smell. It looked like you had just walked in an abandoned back room that is not used- no headboards , old couch and horrible blankets. It looked like they had just put it together then. They had a large group that had booked and they didn’t even control the noise level. On top of that - we woke up to no water and electricity in the morning and they didn’t even have a backup plan for that.

The garden is really deceiving - it gives you hope that the inside is also nice.
