There was nothing to dislike.

It is a wonderful little place in the most beautiful setting. A perfect place to get away but yet not be too far from restaurants and shops.. It is beautifully laid out and we loved that each bedroom had it's own en-suite. Having both a shower and a bath is a plus. We loved the outdoor verandah and the woodern hammock Brough our granddaughter much enjoyment. There are lovely quiet roads to cycle on through the trees and also great to walk. Loved everything and Caroline was a great hostess who checked up on us and also was always quick to respond to any messages from us. She gave us space to enjoy our time but was a call away if we needed her. We also had a car port for our car which is amazing.

Way exceeded our expectations, even a litre of milk in the fridge for coffee.

Nothing we didn’t like. The cottage could just use a braai brush to clean the grid as it was not clean and we love to braai. Also a braai pan/tin of sorts would be great to put cooked meat in. Lastly some big spray would be great as there are quite a lot of bugs (but these are expected when on a beautiful small holding). No complaints, just personal suggestions

Very comfortable cottage and worked well for our family. Caroline was available if and when needed and the location close to school was great.

Conveniently located not far from the highway. The views of the dam from the unit were amazing. The unit was kitted with everything we needed.

I would have prefered the lounge and kitchen windows to have curtains or blinds particularly when there was thunder and lightning.

The place is lovely, and Caroline was an absolutely hospitable host. They thought of everything that you will need as a guest. It felt like home away from home. We were catered for in every sense of the word. I will definitely book again.

The location is excellent, however there were plenty of bugs and mosquitoes. Air conditioning or screens could help with the comfort of sleeping at night

I loved the location. Right next to a plantation where you can go for walks, plus a lovely view over a dam and we had the most amazing sunset, it was just beautiful! The host was also such a lovely person and very helpful and kind. She responded immediately to all my queries and helped where she could.

Lovely comfortable accommodation. The owner included little extras like coffee pods for the coffee machine, enough free firewood, and milk in the fridge. The bathrooms had lovely fluffy towels, handwash, and body lotion. Check-in and check out were seamless. Was central enough to visit sites like Nelson mandela Capture Site and howick Falls as well as the Saturday Karkloof farmers market. Whilst there, I would also recommend a dinner at Garlingtons reatuarant, awesome views and atmosphere. I would highly recommend Eagles Nest for a getaway to the midlands. For the price we paid we got 5 star accommodation.

The place is cozy and comfortable . A place you would gladly call home. Peaceful and safe away from all the hustle and bustle, but yet not really far from all the necessary amenities.

A hand shower in the 2nd bathroom suite would have been useful in order for us to use either shower or Tub, as we kinda had to queue to use the shower.

The scenery was stunning, the facilities were all accommodating, especially appreciated the ease of entering and leaving the property. Appreciated the comfortable beds, and homeliness of the unit.

I only had a positive experience.

The place was spotless clean. I know it’s a small thing but the fact that there was ear buds in the bathroom, I thought was was very thoughtful. The interior design and decor was stunning.
