The pool was not heated and the restaurant on site was not open for most of our stay.

The peace and quiet was sarene. A great break away from the city life and our little pupper loved it there.

Old and tired linen, kitchen utensils. The fridge does not have a thermostat and is set on Freeze, so all our food got frozen.

Superb location which allows total immersion in nature.

There was a cigarette smell in the room. The toilets are detached so we had to walk in the rain to go to the bathroom. There are bugs and no bug prevention. The pool water was nasty (they are not treating the fountain water). There was no mention of a R500 key deposit until on arrival and the lights kept going off and on.

It was in a quiet place. The staff was nice. The scenery was beautiful and the stream was epic.

The facilities are a little run down and tired, but more than adequate for a single night's stay.

The situation was lovely: quiet and peaceful. We were only staying overnight, but could have spent a couple of nights just to unwind. The staff were very helpful, and friendly. A storm knocked the power out during the night, and they were there in the morning with hot water for coffee.

Toilets werent clean and a bit far from our accommodation especially at night. No oven for cooking. There are lights installed but not switched on during night hours where it is extremely dark. The Jacquizi is only filled up at 4pm where the weather is uncertain most afternoon its cold, raining and thundering

Beautiful natural environment, had fresh slaughtered meat, kids learned about farming life and great service from Management to lowest level

I couldn't take a bath as the water was brown, no matter how long I let it run out.

The unit was big, it was actually an upgrade from our initial booking. The patio and garden were, absolute best.

For a couple who wants to enjoy a stoep and kitchen, book the chalets or even better, one of the cottages where you can enjoy the views from the stoep or from the living room. The rondawels doesn't have this at all and we weren't that close to the ablution facilities. In the rainy weather it was not pleasant. The rondawels are very basic. Take your gazebo with to extend the rondawel and create a seating area for outside. Glad we took our camping chairs too.

The views and nature is really stunning. We could hike across the whole farm. Cellphone signal goes from non-existent to 4G which we didn't mind at all. It rained for days and we had coule of leaks but nothing too serious. We were in a rondawel at first and upgraded to Cottage lane which made all the difference. No more walks to the bathroom in the rain. Celeste is a 'regte boervrou' and was at our beck-n-call when the whatsapps went through. Early mornings seem to be the best timing. She also makes a very nice Trout meal. Jan-Hendrik speaks proudly of his farm and you can see he has a passion for it. Rudolf's sourdough pizzas looked amazing! Keep it up. We want to have them next time! The memorabilia and stories ouma and oupa told at dinner was enjoyable. The restaurant was only open on Saturday and I think this is how they run it. We didn't use the pool but other visitors did and seemed to enjoy it. Tips for people with cars, when it rains you might get stuck but, plenty of help nearby. We didn't fish but, saw trouts being caught on 2 occasions. Next time we'll fish too! This is a full functioning farm with sheep, horses, geese and reign deers to mention a few Next time, we would love to see the rest. Overall we had a good experience. We felt welcome and a little friendliness and understanding goes a long way! Maybe consider getting someone to make pizzas or run the restaurant, especially the pizzas.

It was amazing to be so remote and in nature. The farm is so well positioned.

The communal bathrooms could do with a facelift. Struggled with no hot water for the few days. As we showered later in the evening there was no one to ask for help and had to wait for the morning.

Fishing was great! Beautiful surroundings and good value for money. It one of our favourite spots in Dullstroom.
