The lodge was serene and peaceful, having a restaurant right on the facilities really helped and Riaan was a fantastic help throughout. The room was spaceous and clean and the staff accommodated wherever possible. Cleaning was done daily too. Great for evening walks and close to a shopping centre.

South AfricaCheck-in and Check-out was confusing as there was no one to induct us, We wanted to swim but we were scared to look for a swimming pool as the lady that gave us the keys on arrival informed us that the facility has dogs and we were not sure how friends they were.
The location was good close to the freeways to and from the destination. On arrival the lady that assisted us was in a hurry to leave as it was almost knock off time. It was a bit confusing in the morning, we did not know where to go until a guest staying in the room next to us showed us - the breakfast was fine the service was good.

South AfricaThe Shower drainage was a little issue but seemed resolved by the time I left. The space between the Bed and chest was a little snug, creating a small toe stubbing incident when trying to close the curtains, but other than that, I had no further complaints.
The restaurant, based just outside the gate of the Guest lodge, was extremely accommodating of time requirements - I had to get out earlier than expected, so the restaurant allowed me to come in earlier to eat, and were quick in preparing the food, allowing me to get to my meetings on time, on a full stomach. All the staff, both at the lodge and restaurant, were very friendly and hospitable. Waking up to birds chirp - what a way to be woken up, so peaceful. The location, was ideal to where I needed to be each day.

South AfricaThe kettle cord didn't reach the plug on the bottom, i had to put the kettle on the floor to boil. In the corner where the plug was i noticed alot of spider webs. The ladies upstairs made alot of noise, i just had to endure it, but found it frustrating.

Thankyou Foundry Guest House Lodge! We were very happy with everything. Clean, spacious room with everything we needed. Our son loved the lovely clean pool, to cool off after his rugby. Felt safe and all our belongings were safe. Good Location & near shopping centres. Friendly, helpfull staff who walked the extra mile. BotswanaThe staff member repeatedly told us not to come back after 10PM because no one would open for us. We contacted Susan, after few exchange of words she decided to give driver a remote to open the gate. At least they should highlight this before we book. .
