Everything I needed was available in the room. I like it when I don't have to be making requests for basics. Breakfast was great. The area is quiet for a good night sleep. Very cool and collected owner. Great staff service.

We had stayed at Franklin View Guesthouse previously and we were very pleased to find that it was as good as ever. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. We were able to sit outside on the veranda in the evening and enjoy the spectacular view. Gustav was kind enough to order us an evening meal which we enjoyed in the guesthouse. The breakfast was up to the usual high standards. We look forward to returning to Franklin View again in the future.

Decor in the room needs an update, still very much dark furniture and dark orange, aircon was difficult to work, curtains did not have blockout, towels are small, but these are very minor issues, as the essentials are good.

Viiew from the dining room was spectacular. Elzanne was very helpful. Went out of her way to help, felt very secure, at the end of a private cul de sac. Lots of steps, so a good mini workout each time you enter. Booking process good, and was contacted by the establishment on the day of arrival to check for queries and needs. Sheets were good, I was delighted to find a desk to work at that had an array of built in power adaptors. I would stay here again.

Not a big deal but 8am -9am breakfast is a bit early. Atleast 8am -10am would be better. Being on holiday I don't really like waking up early.

The service was great.staff was very accommodating, especially because I was traveling with a 10 month old.. The breakfast was exceptional, although it's a bit early 8am to 9am. But I can't fault it. The staff is very friendly. The view spectacular.
