Property is a bit old it could do with some renovations but at least the host tries his level best to make sure you feel at home.

Breakfast was super nice. We really enjoyed every bit of it. Niven the host was very nice and friendly. He goes an extra mile to make sure the guests are happy. He made sure we were well taken care of. It was a home away from home.

Geckos B&B was absolutely exceptional! Niven truly goes above and beyond to accommodate guests and make them feel welcome. His friendly chats added a personal touch that made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was outstanding, the place was impeccably clean and neat, and Niven is simply a fantastic person. On arrival you might think you took a wrong turn but wait until you relaxed and experienced the beautiful beach and it's people

The owner so friendly and his dog so adorable although I'm afraid of dogs, the breakfast prepared by the own was so nice, the beach was marvelous, place is very safe with lovely people

We liked the garden, the nicely set-up-room with a well equipped kitchenette, a vey complete breakfast, the very friendly owner and the location. A nice restaurant with a nice view towards the river walking distance away.

We couldn't find the place because there aren't any signs up. You need to put up a big sign with the name of the place and an arrow pointing in the right direction. The roads are in a terrible state in the entire area. Small cars are a big no-no!

This is a hidden gem. Set in beautiful gardens, the room is exactly as the pictures show. Clean, neat, and cozy. The breakfast was excellent, absolutely delicious. Niven was a great host, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Great place to stay in coffee bay, niven is an awesome host, who made sure that we felt at home from the very start. Beds are comfy and the place has a very peaceful vibe. Can recommend a 100%.

Loved the property. The area would be a gem if developed a bit further. Sanral and dept of transport need to deliver on their promises to repair the roads leading to Coffee bay. This community has waited long enough.

Very friendly and comfortable. Location is a bit difficult. Make sure to fully stock for a self catering experience. Breakfast was great, so dont miss out on that. Good restaurants, especially Jac’s. For snacks and bits and pieces rather bring with.

Everything was top notch

Very very sweet place. A lovely garden garden that makes you feel in a little bubble out of time , very nice bedrooms with lots of space and a small kitchen to be independent, spotless clean. In itself , the property deserve a 10 out of 10. But what makes it extra special is the very kind owner , Niven, going the extra mile for you, cooking delicious breakfast, giving you tips and always making you feel welcome. It is a very special place , and honestly for the price you have a 3 star service. Really the best quality ratio I had so far in a month and a half in South Africa , don’t hesitate to go there. The road leading to Coffee bay was repaired so you can definitely access with all kind of cars and so did I either my little Toyota Aygo . Thanks again

Everything was great. A very pleasant quite relaxing establishment with an extremely friendly dog and a few ducks to add to the rural atmosphere. The host was excellent and the breakfasts were out of this world. Will definitely stay here next time that we are in Coffee Bay. Niven was also very helpful with restaurant suggestions.
