Beautiful accommodation and a warm welcome. Super location and the choice of breakfast in house or a generous voucher for the lovely Bootlegger cafe around the corner. Stunning views of the Bay.

This place is a hidden gem in Camps Bay! Suzanne, the owner, is wonderful - she was there to greet us when we arrived and to show us around. She checked in both days to see what we planned to do for breakfast and if we were eating breakfast there, what time we would like it ready. The room was lovely! It was spacious, clean, had a great sized bathroom and cute little balcony that had a view of table mountain. Location was great too - quick Uber ride to the main strip of restaurants in Camps bay (you can walk too, but it's uphill on the way back haha), you can walk to the beach and it's not far from anywhere else you might want to go in Cape Town. The house is beautiful with a big balcony (or terrace?) with awesome views and a shared plunge pool. If you come across this place and a room is available, definitely book!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Suz and Wolf are the loveliest hosts, truly making you feel at home away from home. Their home is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are specious, quiet and incredibly clean. The bed and pillows are so comfortable. We had the best sleep. Breakfast was always fresh and waiting for us.

    Everything was perfect

Property was everything as advertised, plus more. Room was spacious and well appointed, with a lovely view of the sea. A very nice continental breakfast, made even more pleasant by being able to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the view of the sea. Property was very clean, with well thought through guest amenities. It was obvious that Suzanne and Wolfgang have taken pride in the property and have thought about how to make it a great stay for their guests. We will certainly come back again when we next visit Cape Town!

    Nothing at all apparent.

Suzanne and Wolf were lovely hosts who were so generous and let us have a late check out and access to the facilities on day of departure because we had an evening flight. The room was beautiful, as well as the shared terrace and living room. It was such a wonderful stay and we were so glad we stayed in this location rather than by camps bay itself. It was quieter and quaint and only a 15 min walk to camps bay restaurants if needed. We’ll definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Wolfgang was very friendly and welcoming. Safe, quiet, clean and great location in Camps Bay. The suite ( sea view) was exceptionally good, spacious, beautifully decorated . We loved the antique decor ambience. The suite has one of the best sea view (s) in Camps Bay, out of this world. We had an opportunity to look at the rest of the suites which overlook the mountains, the views are breath-taking too. In summary, all suites are spacious and have awesome views , depending on one's preferences of either mountain view or sea view. Breakfast was very generous with a selection of different types of delicious bread and spreads, plus a coffee machine. The neighbourhood has a lot of restaurants within a walking distance. Additionally, we were offered to check out at anytime of the day, that was very generous. We will definitely be back, we have actually found a home in CT at Bakovenbay Luxury Suits.

I loved the views, both from the main terrace overlooking the sea, and my room terrace which overlooked the twelve apostles. I loved the decor of the rooms and living room. The breakfast was very generous and delicious and it was super helpful to have the option to take a voucher to a local cafe on the day that we got up early for a parkrun. Wolfgang and Suzanne were very welcoming and I really appreciated their flexibility to let me stay until mid afternoon when my transfer picked me up.

Very minor but I struggled to open the door out to the main terrace on some occasions.

Bakovenbay Luxury Suites is a great choice. An intimate property, located in a quiet area. Super nice and helpful hosts. Tasty and very nicely served breakfast seated on the terrace or in the common area. A nice terrace with sun loungers and a jacuzzi overlooking the mountains and the ocean. Garage available if you have a car. Overall a very nice experience - highly recommended!

    The bed could be bigger.

Everything seems to be said already. This is a really, really nice place to stay in, both the house itself and Camps Bay. Cosy, spacious room with a fantastic view, delicious breakfast, a big garage in the house should one need it and even an elevator! Lots of advice about what to do and where to eat. Suzanne and Wolfgang have created a home away from home.
