Excellent service, meals, cleanliness, etc… and the safaris were top notch. Incredible game viewing at all times even from the room and private and public decks.

That I couldn't stay longer! It was heaven on earth!

There are no words to describe this wonderful haven perched on a riverbed where the wildlife come to drink and play! Not only did I get to watch elephants, hippos, impala, giraffes, crocodiles right from my deck, but the room itself was absolutely incredible! A scene from Out of Africa comes to mind. The luxury, the furnishings..... And the service was impeccable! You will want for nothing here, including gourmet food, incredible staff attending to all your needs, even escorting you to your rooms at night. The food is top notch and the dining area overlooks the riverbed, at night lit up so romantically with candles and oil lamps. And the game drives with Maynard! Twice a day!!! He made it so fun and exciting seeking cheetahs, lions, elephants, giraffe, hippos, buffalo, zebra and more! I cannot say enough good about this place! I hated to leave........

Fabulous tented camp right in the middle of the bush for a true safari experience. Wonderful staff and excellent attention to detail made for a very comfortable stay. Our knowledgeable guide Hali showed us some amazing African animals on our game drives - an experience not to be missed!

Tho it’s all inclusive the selection of red wines and alcohol included was cheap considering the price we paid and the easy availability of delicious South African wines, gins, vodkas etc! No WIFI and no urgency to get it reinstated. The staff did drive us to Imbali as needed and I appreciated that.

One of the best and most luxurious stays ever. Awesome safaris. Animals right on doorstep coming to drink from river. Cannot reccomend this place any more highly! Staff was so great. Each meal was a fine dining experience. We forgot our passports in safe and only realised when we got to Skukuza. They went through effort of meeting us halfway to give us the forgotten items. Literally going the extra mile!

Such an amazing place. Views are incredible. Hippos, water buffalo, elephants all in view from our room. Such a special sight, to add to the exceptional game driving with Nick. Amazing staff - Ronaldo made such a special welcome for us - really set it off to an amazing note! Such a magical stay.

I had messaged reservations that we would be there for lunch but they seemed surprised by our arrival. They quickly prepared a modified lunch and got our rooms ready in time for the afternoon game drive so in the end all was fine.

The rooms are beautiful with fine details and everything you could possibly need. The staff was incredibly friendly and took time to learn everyone’s names. We loved our game drives with Mynhardt. Just wish we had more time to spend enjoying the camp.

Nothing. Maybe you can add a treadmill to the location to get some exercise. With all the nice food you definitely eat too much and you can't walk around.

Some of the decor was a bit dated.

Wonderful accommodation in the middle of Kruger park. Many of the amenities, almost as if you’re in a hotel in a big city. Very friendly and helpful staff Very beautiful, big rooms and very private! Loved our stay, would like to go back in the future.

Absolutely nothing!

Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The level of service was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. The lodge was truly incredible, providing the perfect balance of a traditional colonial style and luxury. We were surrounded by so much wildlife from baboons wondering around the campsite to hippos and elephants on the river bank. The food was exceptional, consisting of amazing three course meals every day. Our safari guide Nicholas was an absolute star! He was so experienced and knowledgeable and went to great lengths to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. I couldn’t recommend Hamilton’s any more! We will definitely be returning!

Absolutely Nothing!!!

We have been fortunate to have travelled to some beautiful destinations but this one is all by itself! Wish we could give it a 12! Thomas and his staff were over the top. Nick our guide was so knowledgeable and informative. The food was Michelin star quality. The “camp” itself was truly like an old time safari. Our “tent” (massive beautiful room) overlooking the river with elephant, baboon and hippo visitors almost on the deck. The amount and diversity of the animals we saw was an added bonus.

For the pricing .... the food served seriously needs an upgrade. I do not want to eleborate about this on this forum but elsewhere in the Kruger you get 10 times better with half the price. The wine selection was extremely poor and would suggest for the price per person per day they should hire experienced people to do their wine selection. The food menu needs a serious revamp. There is enough food but PRESENTATION is everything with a good glass of wine. This is not a compliant just a serious suggestion. Thank you.

WOW ;- this was one of the best wild nature experiences ever! The location in the middle of the bush was phenomenal. Quiet in the wild .... while surrounded by the big 5 and all the other amazing creatures. Wildlife drives were spectacular. Staff a huge bonus and will go the second mile over and over again to make sure you are spoiled and comfortable. Glamping gets a whole new meaning at Hamilton's. Best vacation ever.

All comfortable and beautiful, yet a bit dated. Cleaning can be just so slightly improved, floor was dusty. We would have preferred more game on the menu
