Lovely unit with a great layout and really comfortable. Our hostess was amazing and facilitated everything we requested. Our car was packed with gifts and luggage overnight, so the off-road secure parking was awesome

We had such a wonderful stay! The cottage has a charming, cozy vibe with a lovely fireplace that made our evenings extra special. It’s perfectly located within walking distance to the town centre, which made exploring so easy. Breakfast was absolutely exceptional—delicious and beautifully presented. A special thank you to our host, Mercia, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

It was 5 star, lovely food with a beautiful laid table. We enjoyed breakfast on the stoep, wonderful! We made a fire on Friday night, nice and cozy. Mercia was such a lovely host, we will definitely stay again in future at Honeysuckle.

Everything, it is very seldom that I give a higher rate than 8, but wow, we just loved our stay. Mercia was amazing. The moment she welcomed us, we felt like friends. She is so accommodating, gave us loads of information and is just lovely. Nothing is too much effort. The accommodation was as neat as a pin. Spotless, even the fridge. The bed and pillows we top standard. We slept like babies. It was very cold, and the duvet was of high quality, and the warm blanket was a winner. The apartment is decorated with an artists touch. It is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. Breakfast was the best we have had and we travel a lot. It was served by Mercia outside on a lovely table cloth with gorgeous plates. Freshly made quiche and yoghurt with fresh fruit and museli. It is a must to stay at Honeysuckle. Honestly, you will not want to leave. Thanks, Mercia, for an unfortunate stay. Will definitely be back.

This was my first trip to Clarens and I couldn't have chosen a better guesthouse. Mercia, the owner and host, is just awesome. She makes you feel like you're at home away from home. The deco has that quaint and charming feel about it. Simply beautiful.

If I could give more than 10, I would definitely do. Very cozy place with such attention to details (homemade cookies upon arrival) and a beautiful view from the bedroom. The kindness of Mercia is an absolute plus, she made us feel home from the beginning. And the breakfast is delicious, with organic food from the the garden. 100% recommended, I will come back for sure! Thank you so much Mercia!

You would be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay in Clarens. We have travelled overseas extensively, and we have yet to receive the level of service we received at Honeysuckle cottage. Mercia and Johan are wonderful hosts and we most definitely felt like friends (not strangers) when we left. Mercia spoiled us with yummy, filling breakfasts that surprised us daily. (they even catered to my dietary needs) Mercia's attention to detail made the cottage cosy and inviting. The cottage is walking distance from the main road where you can shop at your convenience. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful location, clean and well-maintained accommodation and delicious breakfasts. But the best thing by far is Mercia and Johan who make everyone feel so welcome and really go out of their way to ensure you are well taken care of. If you’re going to Clarens, this is the place to stay! We will definitely be back!
