Poor signage in Paterson made it very difficult to locate. Single bed duvets together on a double bed was a little strange.

Loved the main lodge area and good food. Bungalow was nice and lighted pathway was lovely.

No criticism of the stay at all. But I would recommend arriving before sunset, we arrived late, it’s a dirt road to the rooms, nothing visible beyond the headlights. Beautiful by day!

Gorgeous setting, tranquil, very comfortable rooms and Inge is a lovely host. The breakfast in the lodge was exceptional. Makes a perfect getaway.

Stunning location, Ingried was such a nice host, the ladies who cook for you are amazing and the food is delicious (especially the omelette!), the a la carte breakfast menu was a highlight too, you can hear wild life in the night, the Chalet is super clean and modern, especially the bathroom is absolutely impeccable

We stayed in Ikwanitsha on our way to Addo national park. This a former farm converted into a little peace of paradise: four lodges nested on the edge of the cliff offering a breathtaking view over the ravine and mountains; a herd of zebras on the ground, bushbucks and occasional impalas roaming the property; peace, serenity and privacy. Could you want for more?

It was very remote up a very long dirt track but was well worth it.

Just amazing. Unbeatable views and delicious food. Ingrid and the other ladies who work there were lovely and the chalet was comfy and had everything we needed, it was really nicely decorated too. It felt very quiet and private. Good location for Addo elephant park and other private game reserves.

Only a microwave in the kitchen may somewhat be limited for those guests who may want to bring their own food. Perhaps worth considering a small/single hob and an oven/microwave combi be added.

The location is truly amazing and unique. Perfect for full relaxation and reconnecting with nature. Only 4 chalets, with a lot of privacy.

The property is really nice and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into it. The cottage was comfortable, clean and with a beautiful view.

The lodge is beautiful and very well equipped with everything you need as for example a fan for cooling and a heater and extra blankets. The lodge is equipped with a double bed, a working desk, a wardrobe, a kitchen and a bathroom. We especially liked the incredible view from the terrace. Ingrid was an amazing host, she was very caring and helpful. She booked great tours in the reserves around the area for us.

Very nice and well-kept premises. Comfortable room and beautiful view. Great experience to drive up the road to the lodge (road was perfectly doable with a normal car, road was dry). Very hospitable host and staff.

Nothing to complain about! The complaints here about the access road are greatly exaggerated. The road is very easy to drive on, even with "normal" vehicles. Most annoying is the last part of the (official!) road in the villagedue to numerous potholes, but thats only a few meter.

Ingrid gave us a very warm welcome and was already communicating with us via WhatsApp ahead of the trip (esp for accurate directions). The lodge itself is beautiful! There’s only 4 of them which makes it quite special and they all have a balcony towards the mountains with a stunning view! The property is off the beaten track but absolutely worth the drive to get there.

For some, the accommodation might be a little too remote. There are not many opportunities to eat out. However, breakfast and dinner at the lodge are delicious.

The highlight was the tranquillity and nature of the accommodation. It is also very beautiful, stylish and cozy. We immediately felt at home. Ingrid is a brilliant hostess and gives good advice. She is very friendly and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious. Even though the access road to the lodge is a bit long, you can easily reach activities such as Addo and Schotia Safari.

The lodge is nice and secluded if you want peace and quiet. One can also walk on your own on the property, amongst antelope. The setting and view is amazing from all rooms. The kitchen staff were very friendly and the food was amazing.
