Upgraded due to the municipal water being off, which was very generous. Property was in very good condition and had all necessities available.

The ONLY thing we didn't like was that the sofa bed mattress was very thin, but it is understandable for a fold out couch.

We're from PE, but just wanted to get 'away' for a night. It was absolutely amazing. We felt like we were nice and remote. Our little family had a great time. Hosts were absolutely amazing and welcoming. Thank you Tania and Al.

Beautiful and clean room with private bathroom surrounded by nature. there was a cute pathway through the bushes with lights that was so cute!! Comfy bed as well and the host was amazing!

There was nothing to dislike.

This accommodation was a very pleasant surprise! It is tucket away among trees that must have been there for decades which made it feel if one is in the middle of a forest. Because of its location (away from the beach - where we usually stay), we saw, and got to appreciate, a completely different part of Gqebergha that we probably would never have experienced. The reception by Alan was very welcoming. And during our stay, the Tania even asked if she can provide us with a heater, or anything else that we may need. That was very kind of Tania in my opinion. All I can say is: stay at L'auberge - you will not be disappointed!

We enjoyed the peaceful forest like feel with modern finishes. The room has a very comfortable bed, a double shower and the rusks for morning coffee was a yummy surprise ... the photos on the website are accurate but when you get there its a million times better ... the quiet forest atmosphere makes relaxing so easy ... if you need to escape the city stress and forget about life for a while this is definitely the place to stay ... waking up to hear birds singing and seeing the soothing green of the trees is a true delight ... brilliant value for money ... we will definitely be returning here and have already started referring them to my family ... our expectations were far far far exceeded ...

Everything was absolutely splendid, there’s nothing that you won’t like about Lauberge

I absolutely liked everything that Lauberge had to offer us. The bush environment was exceptional, clean and safe. We really enjoyed the real contact with nature, the tranquil and birds singing. Tania was amazing with her warm attitude, friendly smile and exceptional customer service.

The wife didnt like the big "reenspinnekop" that was in the shower, but thats to be expected in the woods.

The whole outdoor experience with monkeys in the trees and birds on the property next door. Braai and kitchen/deck area that can be used for anything. I would 100% recommend to anyone, I will be there again.

I loved the sound of birds chirping, trees creak as they rub together, the complete privacy and the coziness of our cottage. L'auberge Country Hideaway is indeed a hideaway and a true wonder. The forest vibes looked like a picture out of a book. I'm so glad we chose this establishment to celebrate our wedding anniversary ❤️ Thank you to Tania and Alan for the amazing service.

We loved everything! The location, the peacefulness, so tranquil, super friendly hosts who were so accomodating. The rooms were so clean , ample tea / coffee supplies. Really a winner! We will be back over and over again!
