Everything ❤️ It was our second time staying at Leighwood Lodge and for good reason! The incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming staff always make you feel right at home. The beautiful, peaceful, well kept gardens provide a calm space for you to rest, relax and unwind. The breakfast is out of this world. The cozy bed and luxurious feeling linen make for a fabulous night's sleep. Just love our stays here and have already booked our third stay 🥰

We were greeted for our late check-in and were made to feel welcome right away. Leigh is a born host—so very helpful and accommodating. She even made us a dinner reservation, dropped us off there and insisted on picking us up after dinner. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. Would stay there again no question and will certainly recommend to anyone traveling to Johannesburg.

The staff at this property were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Breakfast was delicious and tailored to our preferred time, which was a nice touch. The security was excellent, and we felt safe throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable, with lovely decor that made the space feel inviting.

Location may be a little too suburban for some.

Beautiful gardens, quiet location but still convenient to visit a wide variety of areas of interest. Leigh and her staff were exceptionally hospitable - they were incredibly kind & happy to help with anything, going above & beyond to make us feel comfortable & welcome. Communication was excellent. The rooms & bathrooms were large, comfortable & filled with lots of very thoughtful touches. The garden & pool was beautiful & there were comfortable sitting areas which were particularly helpful as we had a late evening flight on our departure day.

Very little. It would have been nice to have Netflix on the tv.

Leighwood Lodge has oodles of charm from the roses to the china tea cups and antiques… and the tranquil surrounds make it a very relaxing place to stay. The rooms are big with all the facilities you’d expect eg hair dryer and tea and coffee & a very reasonable mini bar. The en suite is large with an option of shower or bath.

Located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, the setting and garden were beautiful, as were the rooms. The attention to detail was great, and Leigh and her staff went out of their way to make us feel special.

Lovely large room, well appointed with a fridge and satellite TV. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The owner Leigh, even drove to the car rental office, so she could bring me back to the lodge after I returned our hire car.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was brilliant and in a very safe neighbourhood. The room and breakfast were really good also. We even received an avocado as we are vegetarians. Brilliant place!

We liked everything.

There was a lot to like: the room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and ready to answer any question. The garden was big and full of trees. It was a lovely space to just sit and relax, and also to bird-watch. The breakfast was delicious, and served right on time. The location is on a leafy street, with several restaurant options nearby as well as closely located to the Zone@Rosebank, with more restaurants and the start-off point for the Hop On Hop Off bus, which was a relaxing way to cover a lot of Johannesburg. We'd gladly come back to Leighwood Lodge.

Wonderiful place, in a very good and safe neighbourhood in Johannesburg. The room is really large, with all comfort needed. Beautifull garden with a nice pool. Good restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff is very helpful and nice. Leigh, the owner of the lodge, is fantastic. Helpful with any tips, wishes and fun. If in Johannesburg, stay here.
