The camping chairs could do with upgrading as they are rather worn out but everything else exceeded our expectations

The lodge is well situated and has tons of space for a big family. There is plenty to do and the lodge is well stocked with appliances and all that you would require.

The location is great - a 2 hour drive from Pretoria. The house is wonderful with more than enough space to accommodate many guests. The house has all the modern amenities and is situated at a scenic bush location

Poor lighting in kitchen, lack of dish towels and dish swabs, leaky dishwasher. A few small maintenance issues. Doors that don’t slide well. Some AC’s that don’t work properly.

The layout and extra external bungalows , the size of the house. Patio and exterior entertainment and privacy from other houses Excellent kitchen appliances but complicated to use. Anna is also amazing

That we only stayed for a weekend

The place was phenomenal, more than enough room and modern facilities with everything you could possibly need and more. The staff were so friendly and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Best memories were made and I would highly recommend the lodge for a big group. Would have loved to stay longer. We had zebra, kudu , hornbills and monkeys visiting us and we will treasure our experience for years to come. The golf course, restaurant and pool area are also fantastic. Thank you Nicky and staff for hosting us. I'm sure we will be back

Was not informed ahead of time that the free game drive is no longer available

The house is beautiful, spacious and had all the equipment you need. The bonus was the it's loadshedding proof and has a gas stove.

So much wrong with the maintenance of this property which totally spoilt the stay, broken bar stools, broken toilet seats, showers didn’t work, drains filled and blocked, broken banister outside which could have potentially been very nasty if we hadn’t noticed, plunge pool was dirty and uninviting to cool down in, broke doors which monkeys knew and opened and made small mess, ice machine was great after we cleaned it ! Broken glass on floor which 2 people in the party nearly stood on and cut their feet, bottle tops and rubbish everywhere, we had to clean every plate, knife fork prior to using, house came with golf buggy, couldn’t use as flat tyre, game vehicle that came with house also broken. I can’t believe that no air con in all rooms, one room that had air con was broken. Light bulbs missing so poor lighting, won’t go in as was so much more !!! Such a disappointment as such a lovely house

The house is very rusty and not too functional. The presence of monkeys in and around the property resulted in us having always to keep the door and windows closed at all times and it was very hot with no aircon in the house. The monkeys were a big inconvenience as one had at all times mind personal belongings. The pool was unfortunately dirty.

The self-check-in option was easy to follow and allowed me to gain access to the house. The security personnel were beneficial in providing directions to the house.

Rental agents communicated poorly often not replying to messages. Rental agents gave the wrong check in times. Game vehicle was out of service, and agents didn't communicate this until it was too late to book game drives at the neighbouring game reserve. Cleanliness of rooms could have been better as there were many old cobwebs in the bedroom and bathroom cupboards, with spiders etc.
