The holiday home was comfortable, private and absolutely lovely stay. The amenities within the estate were great, kept the family busy. The restaurant staff was friendly, helpful and the food was good.

It is very peaceful and chilled with a beautiful pool view. The accommodation is very private and a great place to take a break from the city life and the staff is very friendly.

Chalet is attached to the main house so privacy and noise from bedrooms etc a problem at times. Lounge was VERY DARK and depressing especially in winter. No fireplace. Cold. We found flow from lounge to pool frustrating and made no sense as the bathroom opens onto pool instead of the lounge. On top of that have to navigate around a tight pole and different floor levels to get to patio which was Irritating. Pool was FREEZING even though the days were hot, and I can tolerate really cold water! Heated pool especially for winter would be nice. I know there would be an expense but if I was owners I would fix the flow from the lounge, which would also bring I more light.

Lovely good quality chalet. Owner was lovely to deal with. Check in was quick and easy.

I think the marketing of Zabula under the umbrella of Mabula is confusing, they are not one and the same. To see the big 5 you have to go to Mabula at vast expense.

The location met our expectations, the cottage was well-prepared for our arrival. the appliances were modern and easy to use. Everything was as expected. Thank you

The bathroom window facing the braai area is completely see-through at night. Have to switch the light off when using the bathroom. The couch in the second bedroom is falling apart. Needs replacing. Toilet in the on suite bathroom is loose from the floor/wall. Aircon in main bedroom is dripping a lot of water on the floor. Only one couch in the TV area. Not enough space for all guests (4) to sit. The eating utensils are in a terrible state. Only two bent and blunt steak knives for 4 people.

Beautiful area and very relaxing environment. Pool was very clean (could do with some heating). House was nice and clean. Nice braai area. Kitchen well equipped (except for utensils).

Lovely place for a family or 2 couples. The wildlife surrounds you while you have the luxury of a comfortable stay with daily cleaning services. Great cycling and hiking routes with lots of activities at the resort. The owner checked in with us from the very first day of our booking online and made sure our needs were met.

There is no power back up and we only had electricty for 3 hours the entire stay. Very hot as air conditioners could not be turned on. The property is joined to another house and lucky or not lucky if you have noisy neighbours which unfortunately we did.

Cute little place. Pool is inviting and overlooking the bush. Some animals stormed past.
