It's really such an amazing place to visit, We honestly had the best experience and it really exceeded our expectations. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The food was really good and the views was just breathtaking. Overall it was honestly worth the money and I really wish to go there again.

The friendly staff and great atmosphere. The manageress went out of her way to ensure we are comfortable and that all our needs were met. The lodge is a great family get a way and our kids enjoyed the play area, pool and donkeys a lot!

No kitchen stuff that can be used for self catering accommodation. It was disappointing as we thought we can enjoy our traditional food, but no we were forced to buy at there bar , food and drinks while we got ours and we were not able to enjoy drinks outside only inside our room

1. Water is leaking from the roof .(when we stay, it was raining) We have to move a bed. ^^;; Please check this room's roof. 2. When I went to this lodge, main road was closing. So we had to drive off road(over one mountain ^^;;) We took a detour.^^; we got lost on the road. If main road is blocking, it's hard to go there. If road is okay, you can come easily. We was unlucky.^^;;

1.There is a restaurant and pool with slide in the lodge . 2.The staff is kind. 3. We can see a ostrich. 4. My kids love so much T-bone staek. So nice.^^ 5. Beautiful place.

We had an incident where the water was turned off during a time one of us was taking a shower - no prior notice was given. The generator is quite close to the first few rooms so you may find this a bit noisy / disruptive of the peace during those hours. One time, we had locked ourselves in the room as the door handle was no longer working so we had to use a spoon to open it up - it ended up being replaced.

The staff were very friendly and engaging especially the security team who would pass by our room and always checked that everything is ok. The owner is incredibly nice and we appreciated that she took time to say hi to us. Having a generator during loadshedding made it a valuable experience. We appreciated that they replaced the broken microwave with another one. The kitchen was very close to our room and you could find most kitchen utensils there.

I was dossapointed with how loud the place was, 9 in the morning we were woken up by construction work noise, leaf blowers and trash bins being dragged accross our unit. I complained to Bianca who for some reason disregarded our complains. The se and day was the same thing but this time it was grass cutting. I have no idea why these tasks are not done during the week or why we were placed right next to construction site. Really not happy with the place.

They were renovating some units (so it was a bit noisy), but that should be finished soon.

The facilities are simple (One room with an en-suite shower and toilet.), but very neat and very clean. We will definitely go again. We travelled to Kruger Park and surroundings for day trips, and only really slept at Mabalel. They took the kids on a game drive without us even having to ask!

Could not reach staff pr the help desk after hours and there was no contact person to assist after we checked in. The bedding was dirty The room did not have an iron

The bedding wasn't clean and there were drool stains on the pillows on the bed. Only 1 out of the 3beds sheets looked clean. On the last morning of our trip, there was no water. We left without taking a shower.

The staff was nice and friendly and even went out of their way to provide us with charcoal and plates for our braai. Kids' entertainment was definitely 👌 Our kids enjoyed the pool, jumping castles and swings.
