No balcony to accommodate a smoker. Had to go to a central point to smoke.

I did not like that the initial room we got wasn't the one I saw on the pictures. I booked a ground floor unit, they initially gave us one on the third floor. And although the same setting it did not quite feel and had the same aesthetic as the one we saw advertised. But again, the reservation manager came through for us. So thankful.

I loved the reception. The reservation manager was absolutely stunning, so polite, accomodative, engaging and willing to listen to our requests, and issues that we had had. She was never at one time off or gave us an attitude. She really does love what she does, in fact I'd go as far as saying the stuff is very friendly and willing to work. I'm so grateful for her, wish I caught her name.

There was only one shower, the master bath had a tub only so it was fun for 6 people take turns to shower. There were only five bath towels for 6 people. No paper towels or starter dish soap were provided.

The ensuite bathroom was a bit small, a couple of maintenance issues which were attended to only after repeated reporting, towels were a bit small & always 1 short, building located on a main road so quite noisy in the mornings, and DSTV package very limited - maybe just compliment with availability of Netflix/other streaming services.

Functional space, room heaters in winter were very welcome, comfy beds, centrally located, great value for money.

Upon arrival, the hotel was facing a water shortage that lasted two days, making it nearly impossible to shower. However, the staff informed us promptly and resolved the issue within the promised timeframe. After that, everything was great.

Beautiful and family-friendly place with a well-maintained pool and great leisure area with a barbecue. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there's a small bar near reception for drinks.

Noisy occupants in the room next to ours who shouted when speaking to each other.

Good location, I felt safe and comfortable staying there. Visible security guard. Undercover parking. Staff that I interacted with were friendly, pleasant and accommodating. The beds were really comfortable and rooms were clean.

The absence of several amenities, including shower gel and salt, made our first day a bit less convenient

The close proximity to the city center, cleanliness, and good customer service were all highlights of our stay.

The receptionists do not value safety or privacy as they willingly gave out information about our stay and room number. I decided to book Max apartments as an escape from an ex husband and the concierge staff were extremely open with my information such as the duration of my stay and my room number. This was very concerning and I had to make arrangements at other establishments due to the negligence of the staff.

The amenities surpassed our expectations. The kids loved the playground. The view was exceptional and the staff was friendly and helpful.

What is there not to be liked...

Conveniently located in the heart of Sandton, within reach of all the places one would want to go in Johannesburg. The cleaning ladies are exceptional!!!

They had some renovations going on, luckily it didn't impact us all that much, but we do feel like it shouldn't have happened when they had guests. The TVs did not work, so thank goodness we brought our own stuff to watch.

We've stayed here before and really enjoyed it. It's spacious and has everything you need. Enough space for a family.

They are currently renovating the place especially the third floor. smells paint. Other than that, the place is great. Great location too. You are in between Sandton and Rosebank.

The three bedroom apartment is spacious. it's ideal for group of friends or family. it has all the necessary things you would need.
