Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Wifi was not strong at all. Secondly the breakfast took 40 minutes of preparation which was not professional at all

There was noise from the traffic as my room was close to the main road. The door couldn’t lock properly at some point I got stuck trying to unlock it. A few snags but overall it’s clean and nice

Breakfast options very limited, they had no cheese for the omelet, available fruit mostly not ripe yet. Nobody to help carry luggage from car to upstairs (no lift). Room unlocks with a physical key.
Friendly staff, clean and Spa treatment. Comfortable bed. Room was spacious and decorated as requested.

The shower was a bit smaller than I would have liked. Maybe add a barista machine or coffee machine.

The hotel can benefit in adding more than two options for breakfast; Or make a breakfast that includes fruit salad. Add sound absorbing panels in the rooms by the roadside.
The breakfast is good. The is staff very friendly and helpful.

Hotel position is close to William Nicol, now Winnie Mandela drive🤔 so a little noisy. I was in room one away from the road which did help. Staff are pleasant but lack hospitality skills. It's a well priced hotel, quirky rooms with Netflix and YouTube but no local television. Place was empty so it was a bit soulless

With breakfast included there were two options. So I ordered one and my spouse ordered the other one. We just tasted each other's breakfast and they were below average. The cold breakfast option kept running out. We had to remind the staff that there were no bowls, glasses, yoghurt had run out or the muesli had finished. Almost as though there isn't a quality control rep. The manager (or maybe one of the heads) was using a torn blazer. It doesn't seem like much but people will judge the book even after the first page if that makes sense. The swimming pool was blue but not exactly clean or clear. The benches by the pool were dirty. Although we weren't experiencing load shedding at the time, the "hotel's" electricity was going haywire with constant power outage. Maybe the inverter was having issues but nothing was mentioned by management. A lot of potential at the "hotel" but there just needs to be better control of the facility and how it's managed. Or perhaps just some form of quality surveyor.
The room was cute (wish it had a longer couch). Good parking area. Staff members were polite. A lot of potential.

It felt like the establishment was a little unkept. There were still Christmas decorations out at the end of January and the gym that is advertised is in a state and basically unusable.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean.

The breakfast was too basic and the coffe available was Ricoffee… Our room didn’t have a kettle for morning tea and coffee and not user friendly. Aircons are needed in the rooms for the hot summer nights.
