The breakfast was delicious and many varieties of food. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Everything you needed was supplied. Lovely bedding and decor. Gardens are beautiful with the large trees and the detailed corners. Ideal for wedding photos.

    Everything was great

Room was lovely and large, with an Aircon, what a bonus. Lovely pool to swim in. Within walking distance of shops a restaurants. Felt very safe. Off street parking

Facilities in the room were very good. Relaxed atmosphere and check out procedures.

Room wasn’t ready in time however we were able to check in and move to our rooms by 2pm. Information on the forms was incorrect. Breakfast was not ready by 8am but they keep it open until 10am to compensate.

Beautiful spacious rooms. Well maintained property with beautiful gardens.

Breakfast was a let down. We were told that we can only have breakfast between 8-9 but when we got there breakfast was not ready and the staff not very accommodating.

Beautiful place , central location and amazing garden.

The room that we stayed in (no 11) has a glass double door that is east facing so the sunlight was blazing through our room early in the morning since the door is not fitted with curtains or blinds. We were forced to wake up early due to that unpleasant sunlight that invaded our sleep.

    Property response:

Thank you for your lovely comments overall. We have noted the early morning sun issue. We apologise for the inconveniences and thank you for bringing it to our attention. Kind Regards, Owner

Great location, nice sized bed and great water pressure. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Lack of WiFi was a huge fail for me. Managed to use it in the reception to resolve an issue but 12 hours later and room remained offline my entire stay. Dormant fountains were laden with mosquito larvae. Pool is a splash pool. Not great for lounging or swimming. Overall could have been higher rated if not so expensive given the service delivery faults. Wedding went late on Friday night, loudly. Would have been good to have been made aware of such. Room faced East and had no curtains or covers over the glass doors. Bright sunshine directly in the eyes from sunrise.

25 & 26 October 2024 Thank you for your lovely comments overall. We have noted the early morning sun issue, and yes we had trouble with the Wifi that needed an update from the provider (which we did not know about until then). The reception staff should have informed you about the wedding taking place. The fountains should stay on for noise and mosquito issues – we will take that up with our security staff that apparently put it off at night. We apologise for the inconveniences and thank you for bringing it to our attention. Kind Regards, Owner

    Breakfast was excellent

Our booking through Bookings.com got messed up and they had the wrong dates- our rooms weren't ready and they had very little staff, since we were the only booking for that weekend. They had to scramble to accommodate us. The staff however did everything they could to make us feel super welcome after the initial confusion. Also, Bookings.com said they have a cot for our toddler, which they didn't. Had we known, we would've taken our own cot. The staff again did their best and made us a little bed for our young one, but unfortunately he didn't sleep in it at all and we had a rough first night- borrowed a cot from a neighbouring lodge for the next night. Can't comment enough on how sweet the staff were and how at home they made us feel- they did not make us feel bad at all that some of them had to come back for the weekend just to accommodate us. So I would recommend them- they just have to change their information on Bookings.com in terms of the cot.
