A beautiful working farm close to the Mountain Zebra National Park. We made our own meals using the guest house facilities. We loved viewing the newborn lambs and taking a short walk around the property. Waking up to the sheep bleating was such a pleasure.

Location was excellent. Not too far out of town with a great view of the mountain. Guesthouse is very well furnished and comfortable with everything needed to survive a cold karoo evening.

A great option if you plan to visit the Mountain zebra NP. A farm stay with a luxury hotel touch. Sparkling clean, equipped with anything you may need. A scenic location some 20 mins drive from the NP gate. Amazing owner. We did not feel like leaving the place...

The scenery of the place was spectacular. Silence, beautiful plants, amazing koppies of the Karoo, fantastic breakfast: yoghurt which you will not find in a regular shop, warm fresh bread, amazingly made eggs we have never encountered before made a significant impression on us. Very tastefully appointed accommodation, not really expected on a farm, was quite a surprise for us. The owner was sensitive to the needs of a disabled person as were the devices in a bathroom. The dogs staying outside were very friendly and protective. It was warm inside despite a chili bite outside. Mountain Zebra National Park did not disappoint. There were beautiful zebras everywhere, different boks and lots of monkeys. The farm abounded in lambs. Wilhelm was an excellent host.

We recently had the pleasure of staying once again at this beautiful country guest house.. Wilhelm welcomed us and that evening we enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by his wife Sue-Ellen. (This has to be pre-ordered) The breakfast was just as good, beautifully prepared and presented. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable with the greatest attention to detail. We will definitely be back to enjoy this exceptional Karoo hospitality.

The setting is beautiful and the house is spacious and beautifully furnished. The small details and care create such a feeling of luxury and comfort. I wish we had spent an extra night to enjoy the farm life beauty. A gem find!
