Abdul/Chief of Staff’s communication and mannerisms were far below the standard expected at a lodge of this caliber, he lacked the basic courtesy expected in any guest-facing role. There was a clear disconnect between his behavior and the otherwise high standards upheld by the rest of the team. Guests should never feel like an inconvenience.

Everything was so nice. The food was outsranding. And the gamedrive to Jozini Dam was amazing.

Very little game sighting. The ranger said “ the grass was too long “. Pool was not ready. Chlorine needed to be put in. The lawn where the pool loungers were located needed to be mowed.

It’s clean and neat. Lovely shower with a bath tub with amazing views of the Jozini Dam. Food was excellent.

Loved the location it it a perfect breakaway from the busy city live.The stuff were exceptional Ntobe and the rest of the ladies were truly amazing we were treated like VVIPs.

When you drive towards the welcoming area in front of the reception, it doesn't look like much. There is a boat parked with heaps of small rocks and sails. I would recommend making this area a bit more inviting with laid out parking spots etc.

We like absolutely everything about our stay at Mpeti. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms. Although I have given the below recommendation, I can't fault anything of the weekend. We saw a lot of game and enjoyed every second.

I loved everything about the place. The people there made us feel like we were from a royal family. Good food from the chef, amazing staff,gorgeous views,beautiful scenery. They are such amazing hosts.

Access to lodge not the greatest in a small car, really bad gravel roads (+/- 10kms). Not very accommodating for late check-in.

Food was amazing, especially the breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Peaceful and quiet.

Only detail we thought was wrong was the glass containers in the beautiful bathroom. We nanaged to drop one in the shower so there was glass all over the floor. As an interior designer I would definitely change to plastic containers for safety sake. . Also the fat that thectap is on the far side of the big bath is not helpful but this was an original design fault and difficult to change. Personally we would prefer a door on the toilet. But the bath experience with the view to outside was wonderful. Again thank you

Rooms & public area very well furnished & attractive. We thought our dinner experience was exceptionally good, including presentation. Game Drive pleasant & informative. Very nice to have drinks & snacks with friendly, knowledgeable Guide. Thank you. We would love to visit again for longer.

The insects at night were unbearable. Perhaps they could consider getting some kind of insect repellant in the rooms.

The location was perfect, I would even describe it as remote. The lodge itself is stunning and the staff was super friendly. We enjoyed the game drive and having sundowners by Jozini Dam.

ooh the suprise after the game drive //got to our gorgeus room with tub full of bubbles and foam ,candles around the tub.. Marcelle was amazing gold hearted lady ..she offers the best game drives

Omg the staff is sooo welcoming and very friendly, the room is super clean to the tee..communication prior my trip done professionally, the facilities are very clean. We were well prepared for our trip because we knew everything we needed to know about the place eg no wifi no iron . The food omg the food tasted amazing . We didn’t get to see a lot of animals but the view of the jozini dam is breathtaking the pictures are excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and we are very happy.

The food was exceptional 👌 The rooms were clean, and when u go out for some time you will come back to your room cleaned. The ladies from the reception to the restaurant were friendly and helpful, they will make you understand the menu before you order. Our game ranger was very friendly which made the game drive more fun. Everything about this place is 10/10.

There really wasn’t anything I can think of that’s would have improved our stay

Everything about our stay was exceptional- from the warm welcome we received to the amazing service . One evening I mentioned I had gotten quite cold after a visit to Pongola Lake and I returned to my room to find a hot candlelit bath waiting for me !! I am gluten intolerant and received fresh gluten free bread and many food options too 🤩 Our room was clean and warm and welcoming we could sit outside and watch Impalas walk by and warthogs . We had a guided safari tour and saw many more animals as well as having an evening drink at the lake - a very worthwhile visit x
